As a die-hard fan of esports and specifically the VALORANT scene, I can confidently say that Rob Moore, the CEO of Sentinels, is an exceptional figure in the world of competitive gaming. His unwavering support for his team, Sentinels, is evident in every step they take towards victory.
As a devoted fan, I’ve been thrilled to see our very own Sentinels CEO, Rob Moore, gracing the VALORANT Champions 2024 event! Being there in person gives such an electric atmosphere, and I can’t help but share the sentiments of our team on their remarkable leader.
2024’s VCT has seen a rollercoaster ride for the Sentinels. They started strong, leading the pack early on, but their momentum shifted when Masters Shanghai came around. However, at the VALORANT Champions 2024, they seem to be regaining their form, with their CEO Rob Moore cheering them on.
In SEN City, the lights are shining brightly as the team triumphed over Gen.G in the decisive Group B match. During this battle, an interview featuring Moore took place. Later, during a post-match press conference, we inquired about their feelings regarding their boss’s unwavering support and how it contributed to their achievements.

A fan poll suggested that Sentinels was the most overhyped team in Seoul, but they’ve shown this assessment to be somewhat inaccurate by defeating their long-standing rival Gen.G. Following their victory over them at Masters Madrid, they initially lost to Gen.G at Champions, but a subsequent rematch ended with Sentinels emerging victorious once more.
The team stands out as one of the most widely admired, not just within VCT Americas, but globally. This appreciation stems from an array of individuals, ranging from the players themselves to the supporting staff. Among these notable figures is CEO Rob Moore, who publicly expressed his pride in the team during a live broadcast.
In our post-match interview with Sentinels following their qualification for the playoffs, we asked about their experiences with Rob Moore during VALORANT Champions 2024. Here’s how the team members responded to the support they received from him.
“I find him quite intimidating on a personal level. His threat about swimming home if we lose serves as additional motivation, but I must admit, I’m fearful of this individual.”
“Shoutout to him for the extra motivation.”
It’s really enjoyable to have an owner who’s deeply engaged and committed to VALORANT esports. Whether we’re just chilling or working the LA scene, I usually show up early in the morning to prepare. Sometimes he’ll drop by and ask, “Did you catch the Karmine versus FNATIC match?” And if I say no, he’ll fill me in on the details of each map. I find it quite exciting when he does that!
It’s evident that Rob Moore plays a significant role in the success of Sentinels in VALORANT over the years. Despite having a challenging playoff route ahead, their victory against Gen.G, which was widely favored to win the tournament, demonstrates they can compete at a high level.
