Actress Helou, aged 36, and her spouse Tiffany, married since 2020, have a 15-month-old son. On Sunday, they shared that Tiffany experienced an ectopic pregnancy while carrying their second child.
Ectopic pregnancies happen when a fertilized egg implants somewhere other than the womb, such as in the ovary or fallopian tube. These pregnancies can take various forms.
Tiffany wrote on Instagram: ‘Pregnancy loss. Two words I never imagined would be mine.
Over the past fortnight, I’ve experienced intense emotional and physical hardship, but ironically, this difficult period coincided with moments that encourage us to reflect on our blessings.
In our attempt to have our second child, we encountered an ectopic pregnancy during the first month. The initial joy and amazement upon seeing the two positive lines on the pregnancy test soon turned into a series of blood tests, ultrasounds, and an emergency room visit, which confirmed that the pregnancy was not viable due to being ectopic.
I’ve called upon God many times since this started, wondering, “What’s the reason behind this?” “Why did our tiny poppyseed-sized embryo implant in an incorrect location?” “Why were we given pregnancy if it was destined to end like this?” “Why has this unfortunate event befallen us?
‘Yet in the deepest moments of grief, I still have joy…
I find happiness in our beloved Teddy, happiness in the resilience of my relationship, happiness in our family and companions who journey with us, and happiness in God and His kindness.
In a world that seems so flawed, my physical being falters, yet within me, I find solace knowing that divine intervention never falters. Despite the hardships, I firmly believe that there’s an intricate design orchestrated by God, a design that breathes life into this pain and gives it purpose.
In an instant when those two little pink lines materialized, my heart was captivated by our tiny poppyseed. Finding solace in believing it’s now nestled in heaven with Jesus, I hold steadfastly to the unshakable hope that can only be found in His embrace.
Previously, I shared that my partner and I sought counseling prior to the birth of our son. We found this a valuable step in preparing for our new family dynamic.

Marriage can be challenging, as I found out particularly when my spouse was expecting. At that time, I must admit, I felt anxious and uncertain about the future and the uncertainties it held.
‘So we definitely hit the counseling hard and that for us was hugely beneficial.
‘It’s strengthened my marriage and just made me much more family focused in my life moving forward.
Helou appeared on three different seasons of the show “Selling The OC.” This series focuses on the real estate escapades of Jason and Brett Oppenheim, who are prominent figures in the property business, much like those seen on “Selling Sunset.
