Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan shows off her deep tan in a bright red dress at Beverly Hills gala

Emma Hernan experienced a noticeable mishap with her self-tan while attending the Giving a Smile Foundation Annual Gala in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

Chrishell Stause, 33, stunned in a red dress at an event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, but people quickly noticed the contrast between her pale hands and deeply tanned arms.

While walking the red carpet, Hernan also paused to put her arm around her friend, Ella Rose, a 34-year-old Swedish model and mother to Lily, whose father is NFL player Julian Edelman.

Herman and Rose are frequently spotted together in Los Angeles, and Rose has made appearances on the reality show, Selling Sunset, as a friend of the cast.

Also seen at the event were Kelsey Grammer and Blanca Blanco. 

The real estate agent, known for her blonde hair, recently shared her beauty tips with New Beauty magazine. She talked about the first time she saw herself on television, while filming the reality show.

It was such a shock! Seeing it made me immediately want to change my whole look – that’s how strongly I reacted. It’s hard not to be critical of yourself, and I just kept fixating on little things, like thinking my lips looked too small.

I started subtly lining my lips to enhance my appearance without altering my natural features. I’ve always been committed to maintaining my original face and haven’t had any cosmetic procedures. I believe that staying true to my natural look is what sets me apart.

She insisted she wanted to enhance what she had, not change herself into something she was not.

I began experimenting with my makeup, like switching to strip lashes instead of individual ones and finding a lip gloss that worked well for me. Even those little adjustments had a significant impact. Seeing myself on television was tough at first, but it ultimately helped me figure out what looked best on me.

Last month, Hernan fended off rumors that she and boyfriend Blake Davis had broken up.

On November 21st, she posted a sweet TikTok video showing her walking hand-in-hand with her boyfriend, who comes from a real estate family. The video shows him playfully carrying her the rest of the way through a garden.

‘Let them talk,’ Hernan captioned the video that featured Beyonce’s song All Night.

The post seemed to be a response to comments made by Hernan’s Selling Sunset colleague, Mary Bonnet, 45. Bonnet had hinted on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio that the couple had split up.

Look, I’m not concerned, and honestly, I’m not worried about Emma at all. From what I understand, she and her partner aren’t currently together – at least, not that I’m aware of. It’s a tricky situation, but I’m staying positive.

Bonnet didn’t share any further information, but she did talk about the controversy surrounding the racial slur used against Davis.

Bonnet suggested letting Emma explain what happened, hinting there was more to the situation than people knew. He also added that Emma is a very kind person.

The ninth season of the show began with controversy when Chrishell Stause, a co-star and former friend of Hernan Davis, publicly accused him of using a racist slur against her partner, G Flip, and making fun of their pronouns.

Hernan quickly clarified the situation, telling Us Weekly in November that the comments about pronouns being ‘dumb’ were inaccurate. She explained that he would never say such a thing and that he mistakenly said ‘wife’ when referring to G Flip.

Hernan explained that when he used the word “wife,” he immediately clarified what he meant, as it was the first time this person was hearing about their relationship. He added that this didn’t sit well with Chrishell.

Hernan explained that he understands why she’s defending G, calling her a wonderful person. However, he insists the comment wasn’t intended to be hurtful and that the claim about him dismissing pronouns is false. He stated he was present and it simply didn’t happen.

Stause got a chance to vent some more during the season 9 reunion that aired on November 5.

‘I am frustrated because I have gotten no accountability from her. I am sorry I put it on social media. What he said, I am sorry I repeated it on social media,’ Stause began.

Speaking to Hernan, she expressed her disappointment that he’d continued dating someone with those beliefs for so long – a year and a half. She explained she’d really tried to be a supportive friend, and that everything she did came from a place of care and love for him.

I simply want her to be happy, loved, and treated well. I’m okay with taking a step back,” Stause explained, after sharing on November 7th that she was leaving Selling Sunset.
