Selling Sunset Feud: Chrishell Stause Clashes with Emma Hernan Over ‘MAGA Boyfriend’

It seems that the once unbreakable bond between Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan appears to have weakened, as fans have observed a noticeable distance between them.

This week, the reason behind the apparent rift among Selling Sunset’s stars was clarified.

43-year-old Chrishell candidly discussed her complex situation in response to an Instagram query about her and Emma, which has been generating much interest on Reddit.

The Hot Frosty actress responded passionately, mentioning her partner, a supporter of the MAGA movement who expressed disdain for pronouns and a preference for using a racial slur (N-word), when she said that he is boyfriend of Hernan’s realtor, Blake Davis.

She added, ‘I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.’

On Friday, it was reported by TMZ that Hernan and Davis have parted ways, however, they also mentioned that there had been a misunderstanding between her and Stause.

As reported, Emma was taken aback by Chrishell’s heated remark since she had believed their relationship to be friendly and amicable.

Despite the tension, she’s still interacting with Chrishell’s online content, whereas Chrishell seems to be less active recently.

As recently as February 2025 the former besties interacted with each other on social media.

When Hernan teased that she had a romantic relationship with her passport, Chrishell asserted, ‘It stays clean and unused!’ or simply, ‘No idle time for the passport!’

According to sources, Hernan has been preoccupied with events like Cannes and amfAR, leaving less time for catching up with his friends. (TMZ reported this.)

And it was said that the fractured friendship will play out on the next season of Selling Sunset. 

Stause’s reply to the fan’s question was posted alongside a video where she was getting ready for Pride Month, which occurred in June.

In a collaborative post with WeHo Pride, she invited her 4 million followers to join her by wearing their glitter and bringing their kind hearts to the @wehopride event on May 30th-June 1st. She used the hashtags #WehoPridePartner and #WehoPride.

The blonde beauty modeled a rainbow dress while showing her fans her festive makeup routine.

‘Ok, you guys, Pride Month is almost here,’ she said at the top of the clip.

She added, ‘There’s no better time to show up with our love and resilience.’

Currently, Emma resides in the charming city of Cannes, France, where she frequently shares her elegant styles and enjoys socializing with the head honcho of the Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim.
