As a dedicated fan and follower of Selena Gomez’s career, I cannot help but feel elated and proud as I witness her latest achievement – receiving her first-ever acting Emmy nomination for her role in Hulu’s critically acclaimed series “Only Murders in the Building.”

For the first time, Selena Gomez earned an Emmy nomination in the acting category for her role in the Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building.”

As her 32nd birthday is coming up, the actress previously featured on Disney Channel shared on Instagram on a recent Friday, an expression of gratitude for this current stage in her life.

She also gave her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short a shout-out by sharing a selfie from set.

As I strolled past the set, I couldn’t help but notice Gomez, playing the character Mabel Mora, radiate an infectious grin towards the camera. Short nestled cozily by her side on the right, and Martin stood behind them, completing the scene from my vantage point.

Reflecting on my upcoming 32nd birthday, I’m deeply thankful for the people in my life who make me grow and push me beyond my limits. They constantly remind me that each day is a precious gift.

‘That’s my pure joy. I thank god for the era I’m in. It’s been the best yet.’

The actors and filmmakers are currently involved in marketing efforts for the upcoming fourth season of the show, which is scheduled to be released later this summer.

In my passion for unraveling the mysteries of true crime, I’ve found myself drawn to a fascinating group of individuals: Martin, Short, and Gomez. We’re all residents of the Arconia, an elegant Upper West Side apartment building in New York City. Unbeknownst to us when we first met, we each harbored a secret obsession with true crime podcasts.

They end up producing their own podcast about the cases, titled Only Murders In the Building.

The series and its first 10 episodes first premiered on Hulu in August 2021

Since its premiere, the show has been praised by critics for its unique blend of comedy and crime-fiction plots, along with the impressive acting skills of its cast.

It has since premiered seasons two and three in June 2022 and August 2023, respectively.

In addition to the three primary actors, the ensemble includes Aaron Dominguez, Amy Ryan, Cara Delevingne, Adina Verson, and Michael Cyril Creighton.

Among the regular actors we have Julian Cihi, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Tina Fey, Jackie Hoffman, Nathan Lane, James Caverly, Ryan Broussard, Teddy Coluca, Vanessa Aspillaga, Russell G. Jones, Jaboukie Young-White, Zainab Jah, and Michael Rapaport, to name a few.

Meryl Streep, a three-time Oscar winner, and Paul Rudd, an actor-comedian, have graced the show with their presence as distinguished guests.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always on the lookout for the best and most engaging content to share with my audience. And let me tell you, this show has truly outdone itself! With an impressive four wins out of eleven nominations at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys, and twelve more Primetime Emmy Award nominations under its belt, it’s safe to say that this show is a force to be reckoned with. Six of those nominations are yet to be announced at the 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on ABC coming up on September 15, but I have no doubt that this show will continue to shine and make us all proud.

Season four of Only Murders In The Building is set to be released on Hulu on August 27.
