Selena Gomez has hit back at Hailey Bieber’s major dig in a now-deleted Instagram post on Saturday.

Hailey Bieber, 28, was asked about comparisons between her skincare company, Rhode Beauty, and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty. She’s married to singer Justin Bieber.

In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine, Hailey Bieber explained that she doesn’t see others as competition unless she admires their work, and she finds the constant comparisons between people frustrating.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole situation, and Selena just addressed Hailey’s recent statements. Honestly, she seems unbothered, saying what Hailey says really doesn’t impact her. More importantly, she’s asking everyone – including her fans – to give Hailey a break and just let it go. It’s a mature response, and I think it’s a good reminder that we don’t always need to get caught up in drama.

Her opinions don’t bother me at all. It’s more about staying current than being smart. And I believe in being kind – I find inspiration in all sorts of brands.

In the same interview, she admitted she finds the constant comparisons ‘annoying.’

One post featured Justin Bieber’s song “I Do” playing, a track he recently released that appears to be about his wife, Hailey.

People on Instagram noticed the song he posted was called ‘I Do,’ with one user commenting that it was strange timing considering his ex-wife is getting married today.

Many people defended the singer, with one person pointing out, ‘He’s allowed to share what he wants on Instagram—that’s what the platform is for! Just a friendly reminder.’

Justin and Selena were introduced by their managers in 2009. A year later, in 2010, they were seen on a date, which started rumors of a romantic relationship.

It wasn’t long before their relationship was confirmed, and they started appearing together at events like the 2011 American Music Awards.
