Selena Gomez committed a faux pas while attending a wedding on Saturday.

The grand wedding ceremony, filled with opulence, took place on the scenic coastline, uniting rapper-comic David ‘Lil Dicky’ Burd with his partner in production, Kristin Batalucco.

As a dedicated follower, I find myself recounting an interesting event where a 32-year-old pop star from Texas chose a vibrant red halter dress and coordinating pumps for an occasion, which might have raised eyebrows in many Western cultures due to the bold color potentially outshining the couple. However, the 34-year-old bride appeared unfazed by this choice.

At their wedding, Selena was accompanied by her partner, Benny Blanco. He proposed to her using a stunning eight-carat marquise cut diamond ring on December 10, marking the end of their 18-month relationship.

The music producer, who was 37 years old, seemed to be dressed comfortably in a blue tracksuit, black flip-flops, and several gold necklaces around his neck.

In eight episodes of the comedic series Dave, which originally aired on FXX and is now 37 years old, Benny made a guest appearance. Later, Benny appeared in two of his counterpart’s music videos for the songs “Graduation” and “I Found You.” Essentially, they both reciprocated their appearances.

Gomez, with over 654.8 million followers on social media, predominantly utilized her Instagram post of her wedding for advertising purposes, primarily focusing on promoting her initial fragrance from Rare Beauty, named Rare Eau de Parfum.

On July 25th, the twice-nominated Grammy artist disclosed that she would instead offer her grandmother’s biscuits and gravy for breakfast, rather than a large wedding cake, at her impending nuptials with Blanco.

Selena, who has been linked romantically with Drew Taggart, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber in the past, is not planning to embrace the 11-time Grammy nominee’s Jewish religion.

In the year 2008, Gomez first encountered Benny during a business gathering, with Gomez being just 16 years old at the time. Later on, in 2015, he played a significant role in producing Gomez’s second studio album titled Revival. Moreover, he was also involved in creating the song Single Soon that was released by Gomez in 2023.

Back in December, the “I Said I Love You First” duo splurged on a luxurious, 7-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion in the heart of Beverly Hills, setting them back $35 million dollars.

Previously, Selena resided in a six-bedroom mansion worth 4.9 million dollars in Encino, which she shared with her grandparents. Meanwhile, Blanco owned a lavish five-bedroom property valued at 9.2 million dollars in the Hollywood Hills.

In the fifth season of the comedic series ‘Only Murders in the Building’, produced by Gomez and starring her as character Mabel Mora, will make its debut on Hulu starting September 9, with Steve Martin and John Hoffman serving as creators.

According to reports, Emilia Pérez (the actress), Martin Short, and Steve are reportedly earning more than $600,000 per episode as both producers and stars of the highly-regarded mystery series.
