As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating the virtual world of celebrity relationships, I can say with confidence that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are the latest power couple to add some star wattage to the gaming world’s “Who’s Dating Who?” discussion. Congratulations are certainly in order for the newly engaged duo!
Congratulations are in order for Selena Gomez, who has confirmed her engagement to Benny Blanco.
The leading actress of “Only Murders in the Building” announced her engagement joyfully through Instagram posts, where she showcased pictures of her sparkling engagement ring and a tender snapshot of her future spouse holding her close.
“Forever begins now..,” Gomez captioned the post.
On Instagram Stories, the celebrity shared a video clip where she displayed the ring to someone off-camera during a video chat.
“Yes to this,” she declares, with the person then heard screaming in delight.
Record producer Blanco later shared his fiancée’s post on his own Instagram Stories.
Since then, Gomez has been inundated with congratulatory messages. Among them, Taylor Swift, friend and renowned pop star, penned: “I’ll gladly serve as the flower girl.
In a heartfelt manner, Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order expressed her congratulations, while Emily in Paris’s Lily Collins enthusiastically exclaimed, “Yes yes yes!! This is the best news ever! I couldn’t be happier for you both!” (or)
“YES !!!! Congratulations!!!!! So happy for you both!!!!” shared The Vampire Diaries‘ Nina Dobrev, while rapper Lil Nas X wrote: “OMMGGGGG CONGRATSSS AHHH.”
The news comes a year after Gomez went public with Blanco on Instagram for the first time, sharing a series of pictures that included her and her partner kissing.
2021 has been an exceptional year for Gomez, as she was recently nominated for not one but two Golden Globes. These nominations were earned through her outstanding performances on the TV series “Only Murders in the Building” and the film “Emilia Pérez”.
Back in May, I was honored to win the Best Actress award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for my role in the latter Netflix musical. Sharing this recognition with my talented co-stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Adriana Paz, and Zoe Saldaña made the experience even more special.
