Selena Gomez admits there is a cosmetic procedure she has done in the past as she responds to a troll – before the hater apologizes

As a dedicated fan of Selena Gomez, I can’t help but feel protective of her when I read about unnecessary speculation and criticism regarding her personal choices, particularly in relation to her appearance and love life. It’s disheartening to see people making assumptions based on unfounded rumors and spreading negativity instead of celebrating Selena’s achievements and happiness.

A doctor’s video discussing possible cosmetic procedures for Selena Gomez left her feeling disappointed.

The actress from “The Only Murders in the Building” emphasized that she’s only received Botox treatments and requested some privacy.

In response to Marissa Barrionuevo’s TikTok video from 2023, her comment reads: “To be honest, I dislike this. I was wearing stripes due to a flare-up. I have Botox treatments. That’s all.”

It prompted Marissa to post a follow-up apology video.

She remarked: “It’s not necessary for you to explain why you don’t resemble your past self from your teenage years or twenties.”

Marissa expressed, “I’m not in love with you for your sake, but rather because of how I feel about it.” Some Selena Gomez fans found this statement confusing or off-putting, as they felt that Selena’s charm and appeal were the focus of any affection towards her.

Others felt that Marissa was just trying to ‘use’ Selena for exposure.

But Gomez left the woman off the hook.

In a friendly tone, Selena, the founder of Rare Beauty, responded: “I unfortunately get feeling quite sad at times.”

Previously, the 32-year-old artist and performer, who is also an actress, admitted to undergoing Botox treatments. She addressed this during a conversation about her romance with music producer Benny Blanco.

When someone commented on Selena’s picture asking her to take out her facial enhancements, Selena playfully responded, “I’ve had Botox done, girlfriend.”

Selena then went on to respond to comments on the site slamming the romance with Benny.

In one, she declared: ‘He is my absolute everything in my heart.’

In another post, she wrote: ‘He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.’

And Selena also insisted: ‘He has treated me better than any human being on this planet.’

The artist behind “Wolves” plainly informed fans that their opinions on her romantic life held no significance for her.

She wrote: ‘I don’t understand … this is my happiest.

If you have no concern for me, feel free to speak your mind. However, I won’t let your words dictate the course of my life. Never. I’ve made my decision.

‘If you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t be in [my] life at all.’
