Summary

  • Seiko celebrates 145 years with an 800-piece King Seiko VANAC limited edition
  • The silver-white and blue dial features unique “V” accents honoring the 1970s collection
  • Powered by the 8L45 caliber, it releases in July for around $3,600 USD

Seiko is continuing to celebrate its 145th anniversary with new watches, and the latest is the King Seiko Vanac, model HKF004. It features a stylish dial with silver-white and blue accents.

This watch features a 41mm stainless steel case with bold, angled designs inspired by classic Vanac models. The dial boasts a rich, shimmering color created with a sunray finish, and includes raised hour markers and a framed date display. It’s completed by a multi-link bracelet that adds to its vintage-inspired yet modern look, and features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a secure screw-down caseback.

This new model is driven by Seiko’s high-performance Caliber 8L45 automatic movement, which beats at 28,800 times per hour. This reliable movement is accurate to within +10 to -5 seconds each day and holds a power reserve of 72 hours – or three full days. The movement features beautifully patterned oscillating weight and bridges visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The King Seiko VANAC 145th Anniversary Limited Edition watch will go on sale in July 2026 directly from Seiko. Only 800 will be made available globally, and it will retail for £2,900 (about $3,800 USD).
