SEGA has just announced a new role-playing game (RPG) called Gintama Battle Chronicle for mobile devices. Fans of the popular Gintama anime and manga can pre-register now on both Android and iOS. The game was developed by NextNinja.

Getting back into the game is awesome – it lets you experience all the best, most memorable scenes with Gintoki and the crew, and honestly, the action is just as wild as I remember. I’ve always been a bigger fan of the ‘Big Three’ anime, but Gintama has always been special to me, especially the unique art style – it really grabbed my attention.

While details are still limited, I’m really excited to see Gintoki, Kagura, Sadaharu, and even Takasugi back in action. With SEGA developing the game and the trailer looking great, my expectations are high – I just hope it includes a landscape option.
