SEGA is Delisting Several of its Mega Drive/Genesis Classics and Bundles For Xbox
As a gamer with a heart full of nostalgia and a memory card overflowing with memories, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness at the news that SEGA is delisting some classic titles from their digital storefronts. The Genesis/Mega Drive Classics collection has been my go-to source for those iconic games that defined my youth and ignited my passion for gaming.
SEGA has officially announced that it is taking down certain games and packages from its digital storefronts in December, which includes the 2018 edition of the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Classics. However, any games you’ve previously purchased will still be accessible in your library.
In other words, you’ll continue to have the option to download and enjoy the impacted games such as Altered Beast, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, NiGHTS into Dreams, Shinobi, Sonic the Fighters, Crazy Taxi, and Virtua Fighter 2.
As a devoted fan, I wanted to share some important news: Titles mentioned below will no longer be available for purchase on Xbox from the Microsoft Store starting December 7th (12:00 am PST). If you cherish the opportunity to access and enjoy these games in the future, don’t miss out – grab them while you still can!
SEGA Games Being Delisted for Xbox on 6th December:
- Altered Beast
- Crazy Taxi
- SEGA Genesis Classics
- Golden Axe
- Monster World
- NiGHTS into Dreams
- SEGA Bass Fishing
- Shinobi
- Sonic the Fighters
