See what the infant from Three Men And A Baby looks like now… 38 years after the Tom Selleck comedy debuted

Approximately 38 years ago, Three Men and a Baby first appeared in cinemas, quickly earning its place as a timeless comedy masterpiece.

In the film, not only did the star-studded trio of Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg experience a commercial peak, but the movie’s triumph could also be attributed to an equally important factor – the title character, the beloved baby in the cast.

In the movie, the character portraying Mary, who turns out to be Dansen’s on-screen daughter, was acted by not one but two talented young actresses – Michelle and Lisa Blair, who are identical twins.

Back in 1987, I was barely four months old, yet the magic of a soon-to-be iconic movie was already taking shape. That blockbuster, which would later reign supreme as the year’s top-grossing film, had its genesis under the watchful eyes of Michelle and Lisa – little did they know their roles would catapult them to stardom!

For several decades following their role in “Three Men and a Baby,” they’ve mostly stayed out of the public eye, with that movie being their sole credited acting work.

Now, DailyMail.com brings fresh news about former movie celebrities, who once shone brightly in the spotlight, many years after their heyday.

In a recent photo posted on social media, one of the twin celebrity siblings, Michelle, unveiled her most recent look.

Michelle, who only appeared in one movie, went on to marry Ryan Ontonovich and together they have two kids.

Back in 2014, she openly shared during her interview on The Today Show that she chose a path in the insurance sector for her profession.

Lately, Lisa, her identical twin, has chosen to lead a more secluded life and stay out of the limelight compared to previous times.

But the two were still shocking lookalikes when they appeared on television more than a decade ago.

Initially, Geriann Blair, their mother, shared that their rise to movie stardom in “Three Men and a Baby” was almost an unexpected or coincidental occurrence.

She shared, “I found myself with some free time at home during my maternity break and stumbled upon an audition notice. Initially, I assumed it was merely a small part in a film, but it turned out to be a significant feature-length production.

However, mere weeks after that, she received an extraordinary phone call – this time from Leonard Nimoy, the renowned Star Trek actor who had also directed a successful comedy.

Since her daughters were still infants, Geriann was always around them, and this involvement went as far as participating in photo shoots for the movie poster, which was created using a photograph taken by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.

But Michelle revealed on Today that her and Lisa’s proximity to fame didn’t affect them strongly.  

She once mentioned that as children, we didn’t find it significant in any way. However, she believes it changed when we grew into teenagers and people began approaching us more frequently.

At a previous point in her life when she was employed in customer service, Lisa mentioned an intriguing detail – as they grew older, admirers of the movie “Three Men and a Baby” would request autographs from them.

The identical twins turned out to be pros on set — and gifted improvisers with perfect timing.

In 2014, Geriann remembered that Tom Selleck was apprehensive when he had to handle an unclad Michelle during the photo session for the movie poster.

‘He looked over at me and said, “Is this safe?” And I said, “Oh, I don’t know.” 

Afterward, she confirmed it, pointing out the familiar stain on Sellek’s shirt – a detail that played a significant role in the film’s promotions. “That certainly took me by surprise,” she added.

Lisa had her own unexpected bathroom moment, but it ended up saving a scene in danger of failure.

During a scene in the film, they attached plastic tubing to her person to mimic urination while portraying the character as an infant.

However, unexpectedly, Lisa performed exactly on cue even though the water system didn’t function as scheduled, astonishing everyone present on set.

‘Leonard Nimoy looked at me and said, “That’s what good actresses do!”‘ Geriann joked later. 

Regrettably, neither of them can recall their time in the limelight due to their youth at the time.
