See what Spencer Pratt and Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Palisades homes look like one year after LA fire destroyed celeb-loved neighborhood

Oh my gosh, I was devastated to hear about the wildfires! Apparently, even Spencer Pratt and Julia Louis-Dreyfus – can you believe it?! – lost their homes in Pacific Palisades back in January 2025. It’s just awful, absolutely awful. I’m so worried about everyone affected, especially those I admire!

Oh my god, you will NOT believe this! Spencer Pratt’s house – his actual house, where he lives with Heidi and their adorable little boys, Gunner and Ryker – it completely burned down! Like, everything is just…gone. Three million dollars worth of house, just up in flames! I’m absolutely devastated for them, I can’t even imagine!

The 42-year-old reality TV star recently announced he’s running for mayor of Los Angeles, citing what he considers a serious failure of leadership during last year’s crisis.

64-year-old Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s home was destroyed by a fire. She recently shared photos of the Mediterranean-style mansion on Instagram, along with memories of it.

She quoted the lyrics to the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song ‘Our House’ in her caption, writing, ‘Oh, it was such a very, very, very fine house.’

A year after the disaster, the affected areas haven’t seen much rebuilding. In the coastal community of Pacific Palisades, many homes are still just foundations or empty lots.

Pratt attended the They Let Us Burn! protest in the Palisades on Wednesday.

It was there that he revealed his unexpected plan to run for mayor of the city.

In a recent speech, he stated that Los Angeles’s system isn’t just failing – it’s completely broken. He described it as rigged to benefit those in power and their associates, leaving everyone else to suffer the consequences, like breathing in dangerous smoke and ash.

Continuing with the same old approaches will ultimately fail Los Angeles, and I’m no longer willing to wait for meaningful change to happen on its own.

I’m running for mayor because I believe we need real change. This isn’t just about winning an election – it’s about fixing a broken system and bringing everything to light.

The father of two explained that those responsible allowed the fire to spread, both before, during, and after it started, without taking any responsibility. He described it as a serious failure to care for people’s safety, and stated they were directly to blame for what happened.

This wasn’t an accident or something nobody could have prevented. They were responsible, and we expect them to be held accountable.

Last year, former MTV star Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, received a lot of attention when their house was destroyed in a fire.

Pratt previously asked fans to stream a 2010 song by the singer, hoping to provide financial support, and this led to the song becoming unexpectedly popular online.

Once the fires were out, all that was left of their house was the burned front gate and a section of the stucco wall around the front of the property.

The property was covered in piles of debris and scorched leaves that used to be in the front yard.

The fire didn’t just destroy the couple’s house—it also took the home of Pratt’s parents.

Last year, he posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing what was left of his parents’ house after it was damaged or destroyed.

‘My parents house gone,’ he wrote alongside a string of crying emojis.

The couple, known from the reality show The Hills, were shocked and heartbroken for weeks after losing their home, and they’ve been sharing their difficult experience.

Louis-Dreyfus lived in her $15 million Palisades home with longtime husband Brad Hall.

The couple, both former cast members of Saturday Night Live, purchased the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the early 1990s.

It’s where they raised their sons, Henry, 33, and Charlie, 28.

The fire, one of the most devastating California has ever seen, wiped out thousands of buildings, including homes and businesses.

Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, Miles Teller, and Leighton Meester were among the celebrities who lost their homes.
