See the first pics from Jurassic World: Rebirth, with Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali
As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast who grew up with the original Jurassic Park VHS tape worn out from endless rewinding, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia when I hear about the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth. Having witnessed the evolution of this franchise over three decades, I’ve seen how it has consistently pushed the boundaries of special effects and storytelling, making even the most mundane activities (like watching dinosaurs in a theme park) seem exhilarating.
Were there any doubts that we’d see more of the Jurassic World saga after the last three movies each grossed over a billion dollars? Not really! Introducing Jurassic World: Rebirth, where the cast from previous films such as Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be stepping aside to make way for new stars like Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey from Bridgerton. Get ready to see them evade raging dinosaurs on July 5, 2025! Before that, here’s a sneak peek at our fresh team of heroes. However, before we dive into the action, let me share the official synopsis with you:
Five years after the events ofJurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.
At the beginning of this post, we find Johansson playing Zora Bennett, a talented undercover operative, engaged on a mission to retrieve genetic samples from the globe’s largest dinosaurs, which could be a coded reference to collecting dino droppings, specifically from a brontosaurus. Sharing the screen with her is Jonathan Bailey portraying Dr. Henry Loomis, a handsome and familiar character type in these movies – a paleontologist.
Lastly, Mahershala Ali portrays Duncan Kincaid, who won the 2024 award for an unforgettable name penned by a writer. In the series, Duncan commands Zora’s squad. Despite delays in his ‘Blade’ movie, Ali remains a key figure in a significant film franchise.
After finding themselves marooned on an island, these three individuals stumble upon a chilling, startling secret that’s remained concealed from humanity for many years. It wouldn’t surprise me if this secret revolves around dinosaurs.
Back in 1993, the groundbreaking film “Jurassic Park” was released, transforming movie special effects and fulfilling every child’s dream of witnessing dinosaurs beyond a dull textbook environment. Today, more than three decades later, the series has grown beyond our wildest imaginations. Let’s wait and see if the upcoming film “Rebirth” can continue this successful trend.
