As a seasoned film enthusiast with over two decades of immersion in the world of cinema, I can confidently say that this year is shaping up to be nothing short of a blockbuster extravaganza! The recent sneak peeks from studios have sent my heart racing and my anticipation soaring.

At this season, studios are unveiling their upcoming projects for the next year. Warner Bros. Discovery recently released a 2025 preview featuring sneak peeks of series such as “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “The Last of Us,” “The White Lotus” and others. In response, Disney has also shared its own preview, showcasing early glimpses of eagerly awaited titles. Take a look below!

Among all these offerings, what piques my interest the most is a peek at the concluding season of “Star Wars: Andor”, delving into the early phases of the Rebel Alliance. The initial season left “Star Wars” enthusiasts in awe with its subtlety and maturity, and I find it hard to resist their claims that the second season will be even more captivating. Premiering on Disney+ on April 22, “Andor” season 2 is just around the corner. Not too far behind, another “Star Wars” series titled “Skeleton Crew” is set to debut on December 3.

But that’s by no means all Disney is showing off! On March 4, fans will get to start watching Daredevil: Born Again, a revival of the Netflix Daredevil series that last aired a new episode all the way back in 2018. The cast will return for what’s sure to be a crowd-pleasing favorite. Sticking with Marvel, we also get a glimpse of Ironheart, about a young inventor named Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) who creates her own Iron Man-like suit. That one’s coming on June 24, 2025.

Other series still don’t have confirmed release dates at this point. However, we do know that the first Alien TV show titled “Alien: Earth” is set for next year, along with the final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” and the second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians“. For those who prefer something more grounded, the fourth season of “The Bear” will be on Hulu in June.

Disney is gearing up for a big year! And that’s just on the TV side of things…
