The bodyguard who recently had a run-in with Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter has a history with high-profile security incidents. The Daily Mail reports this is the same aide Kim Kardashian fired after the 2016 Paris robbery.
I’ve been following this case closely, and it’s shocking to hear the details emerging. Apparently, Pascal Duvier, who’s 53, reportedly had a very confrontational encounter with Ada Law. From what I understand, he aggressively approached her while she was simply having breakfast with her mother at the same fancy hotel in São Paulo, Brazil, where the victim, Roan, was staying. It’s just awful to imagine.
Okay, so get this – my absolute security idol, Duvier, used to work for the Kardashians! And it’s insane because he was actually in charge of their security when Kim got robbed in Paris – you know, the one where they stole like, $10 million worth of stuff?! It’s just… mind-blowing to me that he was there during all of that. I’ve been following his work ever since!
Kim was left exposed and at risk because the large, physically imposing man had been out at a club with her sisters, Kourtney and Kendall.

I was so worried, but I’m so glad it’s over. It was such a stressful time for everyone involved, especially for her!
Duvier is now responsible for the security of singer Roan from Pink Pony Club. Over the weekend, he was involved in an incident at the luxurious Palácio Tangará hotel that deeply upset Ada, leaving her crying.
A young girl was staying at a hotel with her mother, Catherine Harding, and they were excited to see Roan perform at Lollapalooza. The concert was meant to be a special birthday gift for the girl, Ada.
However, according to a post by Ada’s angry stepfather, 34-year-old soccer player Jorginho Frello, the trip was canceled when Duvier intervened.
Jorginho, formerly a player for top English clubs Arsenal and Chelsea, explained that the incident happened when Ada walked by the table where Roan was eating breakfast.
The player said his stepdaughter was surprised to see the singer – known for her dramatic, bold makeup – and had to look twice before returning to her seat.
Duvier, a very large man, approached the woman and her daughter, causing Ada to become deeply upset and burst into tears.
Harding, 34, and Ada were also guests at the hotel and intended to see Roan’s show. Jorginho shared a picture of a fan-made artwork – a handmade fan created by the little girl – in support of the singer.
Harding, who was born in London, also spoke about the disagreement in a social media post late Sunday. She confirmed that Roan claims he didn’t directly ask anyone to get involved.
Responding to the comments, Harding stated she hoped it wouldn’t be the case, but also believes celebrities have a duty to ensure their employees and representatives are acting appropriately and in line with their values.
She questioned whether he would act without her permission, admitting she wasn’t sure. If he did, she said, it would be a serious issue, as he’d be portraying her views inaccurately.
Harding stated that Duvier’s harsh scolding of Ada and her mother completely spoiled their birthday outing.
Honestly, I’ve been replaying it in my head, and it just feels like if Roan didn’t send him, that security guard totally went too far. He’s such a physically imposing guy, you know? It’s like he used that to his advantage, and it just doesn’t sit right with me if she wasn’t the one who asked him to go there.
The mother of two also said Duvier told her their daughter wasn’t well-behaved and that he would complain to the hotel about it.
Harding finished by saying he hoped, if the person responsible wasn’t her directly, she would ensure her employees didn’t treat others this way in the future.
Following the fight, Roan is no longer allowed to perform in Rio de Janeiro. The city’s mayor, Eduardo Cavaliere, issued the ban, which impacts Jorginho as well, since he now plays for Flamengo, a Brazilian Série A club, in that city.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Cavaliere strongly criticized the singer and declared that as long as he is mayor, @ChappellRoan will not be allowed to perform at Todo Mundo No Rio.
He expressed disbelief that Shakira would be involved, and then excitedly mentioned that @FrelloJorginho’s child has already been invited as a special guest by the organization for their May event!
Roan claims he didn’t send Duvier to confront Ada and has issued a public apology. The Daily Mail has reached out to Duvier for a response.
