Secret UFO Documentary Unearths New Trailer Alongside Exclusive Streaming Release Intel

The hotly debated documentary, *The Age of Disclosure*, has secured distribution and will soon be available to a broader audience. It will first be shown in theaters in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., a strategic release designed to make it eligible for Oscar consideration. Viewers in other cities will be able to watch the film on demand and through streaming services later on.

After a limited theatrical run, the documentary *The Age of Disclosure* will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video and for purchase starting November 21st. It initially premiered at the South by Southwest film festival in March 2025, where it received mixed reactions from critics. Currently, the film has only six reviews online, with most of them being negative. It will be interesting to see how a wider audience and more critics respond to what some have called a thought-provoking but overly dramatic film.

The new trailer for the film (available below) features interviews with 34 people who have held high-level positions in the U.S. government and intelligence agencies. These individuals share their knowledge of what the film refers to as “aerial phenomena.” The main idea behind *The Age of Disclosure* is the claim that for the last 80 years, there’s been a deliberate effort to hide evidence of intelligent life beyond Earth. The documentary even suggests a secret, decades-long effort during the Cold War to understand and copy UFO technology.

‘The Age of Disclosure’ Wants Us to Take UFOs Seriously

The documentary *The Age of Disclosure* arrives at a particularly relevant moment, especially following recent Congressional hearings about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena – previously known as UFOs. These hearings largely focused on demands for greater government transparency regarding potential non-human life. Director Dan Farah shared the following with *The Hollywood Reporter* about the film:

As a lifelong movie buff and someone fascinated by this topic, I really set out to talk to only those people who’d actually *worked* on the UAP issue within the U.S. government – and who were willing to share what they could legally. It was tough, because there are definitely forces who want this whole thing kept under wraps. So, I spent the last two and a half years making this documentary mostly in secret. I truly believe there are core truths – like the fact we’re probably not alone out there – that the public deserves to know. And honestly, it’s in our best interest too. This outdated stigma around UAPs is holding us back, making us fall behind other countries in taking this seriously.

Starting November 21st, the controversial documentary *The Age of Disclosure* will be released to a larger audience, and is expected to spark renewed debate about whether aliens exist.
