At last, it’s been revealed! We’ll be getting an animated film based on the Predator series in June, and you can catch a glimpse of the opening trailer right away.
The film “Predator: Killer of Killers” is jointly directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for his work on the 2022 movie “Prey” and the forthcoming production titled “Badlands.
The exclusive U.S. debut will take place on Hulu on June 6, while viewers worldwide can watch it simultaneously on Disney+.
In collaboration with director Trachtenberg, Josh Wassung from animation studio The Third Floor took on a joint directing role for the project. Meanwhile, scriptwriter Micho Robert Rutare was responsible for penning the screenplay.
In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, Trachtenberg disclosed that he was involved in the project while he was on set for Badlands.

The director shared that they were simultaneously drafting the script for “Killer of Killers” and pre-visualizing scenes for “Badlands”, and then while en route to film “Badlands” in New Zealand, they would remotely connect with everyone back home and watch footage thanks to Starlink.
In a humorous manner, Trachtenberg compared working on two movies concurrently to playing a game of hopscotch, stating, “It felt rather like this… It was foolish. I fervently hope I won’t attempt it again.
This anthology narrative delves into the tales of three history’s most formidable warriors: A Viking warrior navigating her vengeful journey with her son, a ninja in feudal Japan caught in a ruthless struggle for power against his fellow Samurai, and a WWII aviator venturing into the skies to confront an otherworldly menace that endangers the Allied forces.

While each of these fighters can be considered deadly in their own realm, they now face a formidable adversary – the supreme predator of predators, the ultimate slayer of slayers.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m pumped to share that I’ll be diving into the thrilling world of “Badlands”, the seventh installment of the primary “Predator” series and the ninth overall, on November 7. Can’t wait!
The film stars Elle Fanning and has been co-written by Trachtenberg and Patrick Aison.
The action-packed movie, “Predator: Hunter of Hunters,” makes its debut in the U.S. on Hulu on June 6, while viewers outside the U.S. can enjoy it on Disney+. Meanwhile, “Predator: Badlands” will hit the big screens on November 7.
