As an ardent admirer of cinematic excellence, I must say that Sebastian Stan‘s transformation into Donald Trump for “The Apprentice” biopic is nothing short of extraordinary! The level of dedication and commitment he’s shown to portray this complex character is truly inspiring.

In a recent release on Tuesday, Sebastian Stan portrayed the role of Donald Trump in a segment from the contentious biopic, “The Apprentice.”

42-year-old Golden Globe nominee Stan took on the role of a youthful portrayal of a businessman and former president in a scene alongside Jeremy Strong, who played Donald Trump’s controversial lawyer Roy Cohn, who was eventually disbarred.

He was later disbarred in 1986 for defrauding a dying client.

The scene shows the pair traveling in a car while a reporter speaks to Trump about a potential interview.

Cohn says: ‘Listen, Judy, about 100 reporters were crawling up my ass to get this interview, and I gave you the exclusive.’

1. Trump receives the phone from him, as the reporter enquires about his plans moving forward since the lawsuit has been settled. (This sentence retains the original meaning and flow, but uses simpler and more conversational language.)

In a confident tone, Trump declares his intention to purchase The Commodore. He plans to transform it into the premier building, not just in the city, but potentially the entire country.

In this world, Judy, a remarkable structure will stand tall. This exceptional edifice will undeniably be the most lavish building globally, transforming into an awe-inspiring luxury hotel that epitomizes first-class excellence.

“I possess both talent and intelligence, which I believe will contribute to my success. However, I aim to remain grounded and modest.”

Cohn removes the phone from Trump and says to Judy: “Shall we finish up face-to-face instead, and invite a photographer along? Sounds good?”

Cohn says to Trump: “You know what? You’re still here, there’s more for you to achieve, but honestly, you’re picking things up.”

The Apprentice premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The movie traces Donald Trump’s journey during the 1970s and 1980s, where he endeavored to build his real estate dynasty leveraging his father, Fred Trump’s, real estate holdings.

The Apprentice is directed by the Iranian filmmaker Ali Abbasi, who shot the critically acclaimed Persian-language crime thriller Holy Spider (2022).

Oscar-nominated actress Maria Bakalova will play Trump’s late ex-wife Ivana Trump.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I was thrilled when I first heard whispers about the upcoming movie, initially titled “The Student.” Variety revealed this intriguing detail, and furthermore, hinted at an enticing logline: a journey into the realms of power and ambition, unfolding within a world shrouded in corruption and deceit. Simply put, I can hardly wait to see what twists and turns this story will take!

This narrative follows the relationship between a mentor and their protege, tracing the beginnings of a powerful American family. Abounding in characters larger than life, it delves into the ethical and emotional toll taken by a society shaped around victors and vanquished.

As an ardent fan, I must confess that I was utterly captivated when I learned that the screenplay for this masterpiece was meticulously crafted by none other than Gabriel Sherman, the brilliant mind behind the 2014 book, “The Loudest Voice in the Room: How the Brilliant, Bombastic Roger Ailes Built Fox News – and Divided a Country.”

The book was subsequently adapted into the 2019 Showtime miniseries The Loudest Voice.

Sebastian has experienced significant career growth, earning nominations for both an Emmy and a Golden Globe following his portrayal of Tommy Lee in the series “Pam & Tommy,” which premiered on Hulu in 2022.

Last year, Stan was in multiple movies, including Dumb Money, Sharper and Ghosted.

Stan, who is known for portraying Bucky ‘Winter Soldier’ Barnes in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, is now among those actors who have depicted Donald Trump.

A smaller number of these performances are for stage plays, with the latest one featuring Irish actor Brendan Gleeson in the 2020 Showtime miniseries titled “The Comey Rule.”

For a long time, NBC’s Saturday Night Live has frequently imitated Trump, featuring various actors like Alec Baldwin, Darrell Hammond, Jason Sudeikis, Taran Killam, and the late Phil Hartman taking on the character at different instances.
