Sebastian Stan sends internet sleuths wild as he reveals his first ‘serious love’ was a fellow Gossip Girl star

42-year-old actor opened up about his initial deep relationship in a recent chat with Variety, confessing that it happened while he was working on the popular CW show.
For the very first time, I found myself deeply in love. As I strolled through the city, past familiar structures and roads, life appeared more straightforward.
In an unspecified manner, the actor was romantically involved with his Gossip Girl colleague, Leighton Meester, who is 38 years old, between the years 2008 and 2010.
The actor — who also spoke about portraying Donald Trump in his upcoming film — played Carter Baizen on Gossip Girl, and appeared in 11 episodes from 2007-2010.
In the meantime, Leighton was portraying Blair Waldorf, a character renowned for her fashionable attire and quick-wittedness, who hails from a privileged social circle.
He doesn’t often discuss his romantic affairs, but when he was dating Meester, he couldn’t stop praising her.
In 2009, he described her as remarkably intriguing, refined, gifted, and downright amusing – a person who makes him laugh out loud.
The pair split up in 2010.

In May, the two stole the spotlight at the premiere of The Apprentice at the Cannes Film Festival.
He was also previously linked to Jennifer Morrison, Margarita Levieva, Dianna Agron and Alejandra Onieva.
On the magazine’s front page, the charismatic main actor exuded charm while wearing a white sleeveless shirt and gray trousers, sporting a subtle beard.
Another black and white photo showed him in a white t-shirt while flexing his muscles for the camera.
Additionally, there was a shot of him casually dressed in a pair of boxers and a gray cardigan, enjoying some tunes from an old-fashioned cassette player.
Elsewhere in the interview he reflected on portraying Trump in his upcoming movie, The Apprentice.
He shared that he did a lot of research and put on a significant amount of weight.
He declared, “I had 130 videos of his physique stored on my phone. Additionally, I’ve amassed 562 videos with accompanying images from various time periods, ranging from the ’70s up until today. This collection allows me to analyze and mimic his speech patterns.
He said director Ali Abbasi encouraged improvisation, which meant even more research.
In a subsequent attempt, Ali might join us and pose a question like, “Could we discuss taxes and your reluctance to pay them?” This query prompted me to inquire about the charities they were supporting in 1983. Each evening, I would return home not only to ready myself for the following day’s events but also to anticipate where Ali might steer this conversation.
Stan also revealed he put on 15 pounds for the role.
‘You’d be surprised. You can gain a lot of weight in two months.’
