Marvel Cinematic Universe actor Sebastian Stan has debuted his brand new shaved head look.

For his latest role, the actor had his hair cut short (or “buzzed off”), and filming started in a remote region of Norway in March.

At present, Stan is endorsing the film titled “Thunderbolts”, as evidence of his recent hair loss can be spotted in a group photograph shared by his fellow actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The movie he trimmed his locks over is titled “Fjord”, marking it as the inaugural English production directed by Romania’s Cristian Mungiu in the drama genre.

The movie takes place in a secluded Norwegian hamlet, focusing on two distinct families: one with Swedish-Norwegian roots and another recently settled Romanians. As their children go to the same school, they develop friendships centered around shared parenting challenges (as reported by Cineuropa)).

Yet, it became evident that the two families held starkly contrasting views on societal norms, leading to a growing suspicion that the Romanian family might be mistreating their children.

A fjord can be seen as an exploration of cultural contrasts that arise when traditional communal values come into conflict with modernized, global perspectives. It also delves into the limits of individual privacy and acceptance.

Prior to the upcoming release of “Thunderbolts”, early responses have labeled it as a powerful film, one of Marvel’s darkest and most emotional. Director Jake Schreier recently disclosed that the movie draws inspiration from a single heart-wrenching scene in “Toy Story 3”.

Thunderbolts* is released in UK cinemas on 1 May and in US cinemas on 2 May.
