The reality TV star, 44, had checked into the Cliffside Malibu rehabilitation facility.

Sean has stated that he’s currently undergoing treatment for trauma, ongoing ADHD, and lingering childhood concerns, as he continues to struggle with feelings of personal inadequacy.
Sean shared with DailyMail.com that he’s battled Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) since childhood. Additionally, his academic journey was challenging due to a learning disorder, dyslexia, and being referred to as ‘Stupid Stewart’ by others.
The speaker, being Rod Stewart’s son, shared that he’s faced a challenging issue for numerous years, causing great distress, which I believe many people can empathize with.
In an open manner, Sean disclosed his history of substance abuse during the second season of Celebrity Rehab, where he confided in Dr. Drew that he was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
Stewart wants to face his disorder head on.
The star opened up, stating, “I’m addressing the emotional wounds from my past, which were caused by growing up with ADHD and a persistent belief that I wouldn’t be able to achieve in life.
In my commitment to sharing insights, let me clarify ADHD – a unique pattern of behavior stemming from neurodevelopment. This pattern encompasses a range of symptoms affecting focus, over-activity, and spontaneity in individuals.
The actor from Sons Of Hollywood currently in therapy is concentrating on resolving his issues, he stated.
Stewart has appeared on numerous reality television programs, including “Stewarts & Hamiltons,” and runs a fashion line named “Dirty Weekend.” However, he believes this isn’t sufficient for him.
He noted, “Even though I’ve faced challenges with ADHD and dyslexia, it doesn’t imply that I can’t lead a prosperous life.
Sean then stated: ‘I am learning how to cope with it now.’
Afterward, the actor expressed his desire to make his fans aware that many individuals struggle with various disorders. He suggested that speaking openly about such issues is most beneficial.

‘I strongly believe that openness about my circumstances is crucial for me, as it can motivate others to seek help and become stronger. I aspire to serve as an example for those in need. It deeply saddens me when I learn about people enduring pain in secret, and if by sharing my experience I can assist just one person, then I consider it a success.’
In previous times, Sean openly discussed his struggles with addiction. He also stated that being the eldest son of rock’s nobility was both a curse and an obstacle for him.
Previously, it was disclosed that Sean was approximately thirteen years old and attending Beverly Hills High School when he initially began consuming alcohol. Subsequently, he moved on to more potent substances such as ecstasy and heroin.
In 2012, he shared with the Mail that during that time of his life, he often attended parties, consumed alcohol and used marijuana and cigarettes. He mentioned that obtaining these substances was quite effortless for him.
By the age of 19, he had progressed to a severe substance abuse problem, involving both drugs and alcohol. This behavior led to his financial support being withdrawn and him being admitted to Meadows, a renowned rehabilitation center situated in Arizona.
Later on, he accidentally overdosed, and in December 2001, he was apprehended, detained for 90 days, and sentenced to prison after he admitted his guilt for assaulting a 19-year old student with a deadly weapon, Jason Rogland, at the parking lot of a restaurant in Malibu. He chose not to contest the charge against him.
He has since had multiple stints in rehab.
His newest work emerged several months following the dissolution of his hurried union with Jody, who is the daughter of renowned U.S. film producer Jerry Weintraub.
For the past few months, Sean has been in a relationship with Julia Stambler. She runs a thriving skincare business, known as SkinSane, which consists of several beauty salons.
Sean and Julia were recently spotted enjoying Rod Stewart’s 80th birthday celebration aboard a luxurious $150 million yacht, accompanied by the Stewart family.
The veteran rocker gathered his big, blended family for a 10-day bash in Barbados.
The chart-topper has eight children by five women.
In November 1963, he fathered his eldest child, Sarah Streeter, who is now 61 years old, with his former partner Susannah Boffey.
He extended warm greetings to Kimberly (age 45), Sean, along with his former spouse Alana Stewart, and his daughter Ruby (aged 37) who was accompanied by her mother, his former partner Kelly Emberg.
Later, he was blessed with Renee (age 32) and Liam (age 30) through his former spouse, Rachel Hunter. His youngest sons, Alastair (age 19) and Aiden (age 14), are from his current marriage to Penny Lancaster.
He is also a grandfather to Kimberly’s daughter, Delilah, Ruby’s son, Otis, and Liam’s son, Louie.
