Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘ordered to pay $100 MILLION in sexual assault judgment’

Sean 'Diddy' Combs 'ordered to pay $100 MILLION in sexual assault judgment'

As a seasoned observer of high-profile legal battles, I find myself drawn into this intriguing saga between Diddy and his accuser, Mr. Jones. Having watched my fair share of courtroom dramas, I must say that the back-and-forth between the two parties reminds me of a Chicago-style standoff – intense, strategic, and filled with a dose of bravado.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been ‘ordered to pay $100 million’ in a default judgement over sexual assault allegations by Michigan inmate, Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but feel deeply concerned about the escalating legal struggles that my beloved artist, 54, is currently facing. Known for his hit song “Coming Home,” this 54-year-old sensation has found himself in hot water, filing to dismiss a $30 million groping lawsuit brought forth by producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones. This isn’t an easy situation to witness as a fan who cherishes every beat and lyric he creates.

At the present, Cardello-Smith, who’s incarcerated at the Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility, asserted that Diddy (Puff Daddy) allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted him at a gathering held 27 years back in 1997.

As a dedicated follower reporting this news, I’m sharing that Derrick initiated a lawsuit against Combs for an astounding sum of $100 million. However, unfortunately, Combs did not respond to the lawsuit and missed our virtual hearing on Monday. Consequently, a judge issued a default judgment against Combs, mandating him to pay the substantial amount of $100 million, as reported by TMZ.

Starting from October 1st onwards, the scandal-hit musician will be required to make $10 million payments to Cardello-Smith every month, as reported by the source.

Derrick first crossed paths with the rapper when he was working at a restaurant in Detroit.

At a 1997 party where they were consuming alcohol and marijuana, as stated in a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Cardello-Smith asserted that he and Combs were involved in an incident of alleged sexual assault.

During the course of the party, Derrick asserted that the rapper had touched his rear end while they were engaged in an intimate act together.

Following our encounter, I unknowingly took a laced drink offered by Combs, leading me to lose consciousness shortly thereafter.

When he awoke, he found Diddy engaged in a sexual act with one of the party attendees. Later, he asserted that Combs had confessed, “I did something similar to you as well.

The $100 million default judgement comes just one month after Cardello-Smith filed a temporary restraining order against Diddy in August, according to the Detroit Metro Times.

Derrick could prove that the rapper had come to see him while he’s incarcerated, as evidenced by the records.

He claimed that Combs proposed a payment of $2.3 million, hoping that Derrick would withdraw the sexual assault accusations against him.

At a hearing held in August last month, Cardello-Smith asserted that Diddy said, “That’s how we handle things,” in response to Derrick’s decision not to withdraw the lawsuit.

Derrick claimed that in response to Combs, he told the rapper, ‘I disagree with how you get down.’

As an ardent follower, I can’t help but share this thrilling piece of news! Based on reports from the Detroit Metro Times, there’s a whopping $100 million default judgment at stake, which could potentially be the largest award ever granted to a non-lawyer and an individual currently incarcerated. Quite fascinating, isn’t it?

As a dedicated follower, I’d like to clarify that I’m referring to an individual with a criminal background. Marc Agnifilo, Diddy’s attorney, shared with DailyMail.com that this person, Cardello-Smith, is a convicted felon and sexual predator. Over the past 26 years, he has been sentenced on 14 counts of sexual assault and kidnapping.

I can’t help but feel a mix of shock and excitement over the latest development! It seems that someone, unknown to Mr. Combs, has allegedly committed a court fraud from behind bars. As for me, I’ve never even crossed paths with this individual, let alone received any legal documents concerning them. But fear not, Mr. Combs eagerly anticipates swift dismissal of this judgment, maintaining his impeccable reputation in the process.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Diddy for comment.

Amid his legal woes and sexual assault allegations, Diddy recently slashed the asking price for his Beverly Hills mansion – which was notably raided in his sex trafficking probe.

Originally, I was all set to put up my extravagant dream mansion for a cool $70 million, but lo and behold, I’ve slashed the asking price down to a still-pricey $61 million, as DailyMail.com verified not too long ago!

According to another source, the house was intended to be listed for sale prior to the executions of the searches.

According to a source, Diddy set up his main house in Miami some time ago, with the intention of selling his Los Angeles property once his daughters became independent and moved out.

He’s currently living as a retiree in Florida, not because he’s involved in any legal disputes or investigations.

In August of last month, Combs submitted a request to discard a 30 million dollar lawsuit brought forth by record producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones. The suit was filed due to allegations of repeated inappropriate touching and potential drug-facilitated sexual assault against him.

In February, Jones initiated a lawsuit; this action occurred mere weeks prior to the federal raid on two properties belonging to Combs, which took place as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking.

It is alleged that Jones asserted he was instructed to hire sex workers and engage in intimate acts for the amusement of a certain star, with over 200 hours of footage said to capture Combs’s questionable illegal activities. However, Diddy has refuted all accusations of misconduct.

During that period, the beleaguered hip-hop artist was dealing with lawsuits from three women and had forfeited numerous business partnerships following the allegations against him.

Currently, Combs is countering Jones’ revised lawsuit with fresh court filings made in Manhattan Federal Court, accessible via DailyMail.com. These documents allege that Jones has been using Combs solely for financial gain, implying exploitation.

The filing reads: ‘Jones’ Second Amended Complaint is his third attempt to dress up a run of the mill commercial disagreement as a salacious RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] conspiracy.’

Diving headfirst into over 90 pages, this read is a wild ride filled with yarns taller than Texas, shameless name-drops that make you feel like you’re part of the A-list, and images that seem more like a scrapbook than evidence. With all its bombastic hyperbole and flamboyant theatrics, the SAC falls short in presenting a single solid claim against any of the Combs Defendants.

‘The Second Amended Complaint by SAC is overflowing with accusations that lack legal significance and contains outright lies. Its main intention seems to be to create sensational headlines in the media, leveraging this attention to secure a financial settlement.’

It’s not unexpected, considering his lawyer has been brought before the Court’s Grievance Committee for repeatedly filing cases in federal court in a way that attracts media attention, shames defendants with scandalous claims, and pressures defendants to settle swiftly.

Additionally, the documents suggest that Jones shared a video where he chuckled over the lawsuit and made lighthearted remarks concerning the potential compensation from Diddy.

Jones has adopted a strategy similar to his lawyer’s, as he recently uploaded a video on the ‘X’ platform. In this video, Jones, along with performer Uncle Murda, made light of the ongoing lawsuit, while still claiming emotional distress. Furthermore, he publicly challenged Mr. Combs to pay him what was owed by Monday. Additionally, Jones issued a warning that he is from Chicago and takes his business very seriously.

Similar to the Strategic Air Command (SAC), Jones’ menacing posts on social media serve as a deliberate strategy to boost his personal image and gain financially from the attention. Such strategies hold no merit within the federal court system.

Erica Wolff, representing Mr. Combs, stated that the lawsuit brought by Mr. Jones is entirely fabricated, an underhanded effort to generate publicity swiftly and secure a settlement.

‘No RICO conspiracy was found, and there is no evidence suggesting that Mr. Jones was threatened, coerced, harmed, or exploited in any way. We are confident that we will successfully argue – in the court of law – that all of Mr. Jones’s allegations are false, and they should be discarded.’

Diddy countered Jones’ assertion that his business or assets were harmed because of unpaid fees related to Diddy’s 2023 The Love Album: Off The Grid, by stating that Jones did not provide sufficient proof for these claims as per the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Additionally, Diddy alleges that Jones did not supply specifics about the claimed incidents of sexual assault and sexual harassment he accused the celebrity of.

Concerning a dispute about an unfulfilled oral agreement, Diddy claims that the time limit for legal action has already passed.

In simpler terms, Tyrone Blackburn, Jones’ attorney, informed TMZ that this action seems like a billing tactic by Combs’ newest lawyers. They’re arriving late on the scene and are trying to boost their earnings with this last-ditch attempt to dismiss the case before Jones is indicted.

Diddy asserts that he did not contribute to Jones’ emotional turmoil, and moreover, claims there was no evidence showing that he had control over the premises where the alleged assaults by third parties took place.

In April, Combs’ lawyers aimed to undermine Jones’ trustworthiness by bringing up the accuser’s previous encounters with the legal system.

Combs firmly refutes the accusations levied against him, labeling them as “disgusting,” while his legal representative dismisses Jones’s statements as pure “fabrication.

Attorney Shawn Holley informed TMZ that Lil Rod essentially falsely claims things and, in an unashamed attempt to receive money unwarrantedly, filed a $30 billion lawsuit.

His careless mentioning of fictitious events as if they were real, with the aim of gaining attention through sensationalized headlines, is clearly just a thinly veiled strategy.

As a trusted authority on lifestyle matters, I can unequivocally state that the assertions made by this individual are nothing but fabrications. Regrettably, our repeated efforts to convey irrefutable evidence supporting our stance to attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who represents Mr. Jones, have fallen on deaf ears. Despite numerous attempts to reach him, he has chosen to disregard our calls.

In the past, Diddy has found himself involved in various legal disputes. Last year, in November, he resolved a federal lawsuit with his former singer partner, Cassie. She had alleged that he committed sexual assault against her and compelled her to engage in intimate acts with male escorts.

However, the pair settled the lawsuit – but details were not disclosed.

Also last month, former porn star Adria English accused Diddy of sex trafficking her – after filing a $50 billion civil suit against the music artist.
