Okay, so I checked out the IMDb reviews, and a lot of people actually liked the movie! I was a little surprised too, honestly. The trailers made it seem kinda… well, cheesy, but a lot of reviewers said it actually pulled you in and kept you hooked. It definitely seems like it beat expectations!
I stumbled across this movie when I was trying to figure out what to stream, and honestly, it really surprised me! It’s a solid thriller, and Michael Douglas is fantastic in it. But Sean Bean? He’s just a phenomenal villain – totally nailed the role.
Many viewers disagree with the negative reviews, believing this movie is actually very good and deserves more recognition. They praise it as a compelling thriller with intriguing psychological elements, and highlight the strong performances from Michael Douglas, Sean Bean, and Brittany Murphy.
Other Sean Bean movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix
The 2005 movie Flightplan stars Jodie Foster as Kyle, a woman whose daughter vanishes during a flight. The film follows Kyle as she desperately searches for her daughter and tries to convince the airline crew – and everyone around her – that she isn’t imagining things.
In the TV series Snowpiercer, which aired for four seasons starting in 2022, Bradley Bean plays Joseph Wilford, a strange and brilliant billionaire inventor. The show is set in a future where the Earth has become a frozen wasteland, and the only remaining people live on a massive train that continuously travels around the world.
Accused is a legal drama series where each episode features a different person from all backgrounds facing trial for a crime. The show follows them as they await the judge’s decision. The 2012 series stars Christopher Ecclestone, Mackenzie Crook, and Bean.
I recently checked out The Red Riding Trilogy, and it’s seriously messed up, but good. Rowan Atkinson – yeah, Mr. Bean! – plays this really slimy property developer named John Dawson. The story follows this reporter, Andrew Garfield, as he digs into some awful cases of missing kids back in the 1970s in Yorkshire. It quickly turns out there’s a whole lot of corruption going on behind the scenes, and it’s way bigger than just a few disappearances.
