Screen Rant Movie Review Roundup: Mercy, The Incomer, H is for Hawk & More!

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival kicked off yesterday, and we’ve got our first reviews! Highlights include a new dystopian thriller starring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson (which uses AI in interesting ways), a highly anticipated horror sequel, and several independent films – including a horror movie, a shark attack thriller, and a character-driven drama.

I’m so excited to share that we’re bringing you the best of Sundance! Every week, we’ll be posting highlights from reviews, trailers whenever we can find them, and links to the full articles. Make sure you follow along, and also check out Gregory Nussen on BlueSky and Letterboxd – he’s giving us amazing on-the-ground coverage!
