As a gamer myself, I’m packing up to return to the battlegrounds of CS:2 alongside my bro, Nivera. However, don’t count on seeing me compete at the highest level any time real soon.
Previously acclaimed CS:GO and VALORANT star, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, is contemplating a comeback to Counter-Strike as he features in the freshly unveiled six-player team by FUT Esports on May 26.
ScreaM has been designated as a backup player and content producer for FUT. The Belgian marksman himself mentioned his ambition to come back to competitive Counter-Strike within the next few months, which seems to signal the probable conclusion of his VALORANT career.
The Headshot Machine returns home to CS with FUT
On May 26th, FUT made its initial step into CS2 through a tweet by X/Twitter. The team boasts several well-known French figures in Counter-Strike, with Audric “JACKZ” Jug serving as a backup player and Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier, previously of Vitality, spearheading the FUT initiative.
With Etienne “drac” Salaün, David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic, and Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, the quintet assembled as Mousquetaires and participated in various lesser tournaments across Europe. As of now, they hold a ranking of 193rd in Valve’s Regional Standings (VRS).
Today’s acquisition of Mousquetaires by FUT came with an unexpected addition – ScreaM. The 30-year-old Belgian will reunite with his brother Nivera as both make their move from VALORANT. In the past, they played together for Team Liquid and Karmine Corp, participating in two VCT Champions events in 2021 and 2022.
FUT’s acquisition of Mousquetaires today featured a bonus player – ScreaM. This 30-year-old Belgian will reteam with his brother Nivera, who are both joining from VALORANT. In their past, they played together for Team Liquid and Karmine Corp, competing in two VCT Champions events in 2021 and 2022.

ScreaM’s career in Counter-Strike spans quite a while. The skilled marksman gained recognition with VeryGames all the way back in 2013, earning a reputation for his stylish “one taps” and exceptional headshot accuracy. In his debut CS Major at DreamHack Winter 2023, he even made it to the semifinals. Since then, he has been affiliated with various top European teams such as Titan and G2.
After joining EnVyUs, he could not surpass his semifinal finish from 2013 in the eight major tournaments he participated in afterward. His most recent appearance was at the 2018 ELEAGUE Boston Major, where EnVyUs were eliminated in the Challenger Stage after winning just one map.
Two years on, he emerged as a pioneer in European VALORANT, yet he’s returned to his roots in CS. It might take a while until ScreaM dazzles us again with his exceptional one-tap skills.
“Once I feel ready”: ScreaM’s official return to CS2 still a ways off

In a different thread, ScreaM expressed his excitement about jumping right into FUT, though not as a player from the start. Instead, he plans to represent the team as a content creator, and if necessary, step in as a stand-in.
He mentioned that his aim is to return strongly to competitive Counter-Strike after he becomes well-versed with the game and feels confident enough. This implies that it might take some time before the ‘Headshot Machine’ starts performing at top form again.
If FUT aims to participate in top-tier events, they must work their way up through the EU’s lower divisions and accumulate VRS points. It’s feasible considering Ninjas in Pyjamas managed this in 2025, but with his current role as a reserve player for FUT and the challenge of climbing back up, ScreaM has a significant journey ahead to reach another major event.
