Scott Mills tears up as he admits Liam Payne’s death is ‘really hard to take’ in heartbreaking tribute to the star after his death aged 31

Over the years, I’ve shared countless joyful moments with One Direction, an experience many of you are familiar with. The memories created during this time will be etched in my mind forever. And let me tell you, Liam played a significant role in those wonderful times.
In a playful manner, he mentioned that it seemed as though he was almost the sixth member of One Direction because he spent so much time with them while hosting BBC Radio 1 during their most popular period.
Additionally, Scott remembered sharing laughter with Liam during the One Direction movie premiere, as even Geoff, who had previously encountered celebrities such as David Beckham and Mariah Carey, requested a selfie with him.
The presenter held back tears as he gave a special message to him, saying: ‘So, Geoff, I don’t know if you’re hearing this, but my heart goes out to you today and to the rest of Liam’s family, and, of course, to his little boy.’
He added: ‘I just feel so incredibly sad about all of this. Liam, we had so much fun and you were always the kindest, most caring person to me.
I appreciate you including me on your journey, an experience I’ll always cherish. The band members were all delightful, but Liam seemed to be the mature, thoughtful one among them. It’s heart-wrenching that Liam’s journey appears to have concluded in this way.
Afterward, the BBC Radio host played Story Of My Life by One Direction, a song specially dedicated to Liam, his loved ones, and his enthusiastic followers.
Liam’s family expressed their deep sorrow over his passing at the age of 31, further stating that the ex-One Direction member will continue to be cherished and remembered in their hearts.
The family expressed their deep sorrow: ‘Liam will always be with us in memory, cherished for his compassionate, amusing, and courageous spirit. During this difficult period, we lean on one another for strength. We kindly request seclusion and privacy.’
According to statements made by spokesperson Alberto Crescenti from the ambulance service in Buenos Aires, it was reported that Mr. Payne had fallen approximately 40 meters and sustained fatal injuries.
At 5:04 PM local time, it was announced that someone was found in the inner courtyard of Casa Sur.
‘At 5.11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead.
Later on, we discovered that he was a well-known vocalist. Regrettably, the injuries sustained from his fall ultimately led to his demise. Sadly, there was no chance for reviving him.
