According to BBC.com, Scott Mills has left the BBC after an investigation into his behavior. A BBC spokesperson stated they don’t discuss individual employment matters, but confirmed Mills is no longer under contract.
Digital Spy has contacted representatives for Mills for a response, but they haven’t replied as of now.

Lorna Clarke, the BBC’s Director of Music, informed staff that Scott Mills has departed from the Breakfast show and the BBC.

After hosting BBC Radio 2’s breakfast show since 2024, Mills signed off on Tuesday, March 24th with a playful message saying he’d be ‘back tomorrow’. However, Gary Davies took over the show on Wednesday.
Scott Mills began working at BBC Radio 1 in 1998 and hosted his own show there for 18 years, from 2004 to 2022. In 2022, he moved to BBC Radio 2, taking over the weekday afternoon program from Steve Wright.

Starting in November 2024, he took over from Zoe Ball as the host of the station’s breakfast program. Before that, from 2019 to 2022, he co-hosted a show with Chris Stark on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Besides his work on the radio, Mills has also appeared on TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing, Eurovision Song Contest, and Celebrity Race Across the World.
