School of Rock cast reunites to celebrate co-stars getting married

The cast of School of Rock have reunited as two co-stars tied the knot.

As the on-screen duo for Frankie and Marta back in the beloved 2003 film, it’s me (Angelo Massagli or Caitlin Hale) who had the privilege of playing those characters. Fast forward to today, our paths crossed again, and now we’re not just co-stars anymore – we’ve become husband and wife!

At the weekend’s wedding ceremony, several of their fellow actors gathered for a joyous celebration of the newlyweds. Caitlin posted a collection of photos from the special occasion, among them an attractive group shot featuring the cast.

In an interview with The New York Times, the pair disclosed that they reconnected as mature individuals during their graduate studies in Florida. They initially met for lunch and eventually found themselves meeting more frequently.

According to Massagli, we believed that was about it, but we continued to share meals and enjoy weekends together. It felt as if something exciting was unfolding.

He mentioned: “Despite it not being romantic, the familiarity we shared from our childhood, along with our families’ connections, helped us navigate some of the initial challenges in our relationship.

Hale admitted that she sensed “very early” that there was something special between the pair.

She confided in one of her good friends that during a ride in an Uber heading to Miami for a weekend getaway, they were planning to go out, and she mentioned something along the lines of, “I believe I’m going to marry him.

After Massagli proposed that Hale live with him to reduce their daily commute, they eventually decided to share a home together. Later on, in the year 2019, they relocated to New York City, and four years after that, they became engaged.

During their wedding in New Jersey, the pair shared that they had an affectionate tribute to “School of Rock” as they danced with their fellow performers to Stevie Nicks’ song ‘Edge of Seventeen’, a track prominently used in the film.

Moreover, Hale disclosed that she enjoyed a dance session with her backup singer colleagues, expressing: “We were simply grooving to some classic disco tunes when there was an improvised part in the song. Without a second thought, we all joined in. Looking at each other, we exclaimed, ‘That just happened! We’ve still got it!’
