It felt like reliving the Rose family’s trials and tribulations all over again, albeit this time with a touch of nostalgia and a hint of anticipation for what the future may bring.
On that star-studded evening of the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards in LA, I couldn’t help but feel my heart race as Catherine O’Hara matched Jennifer Aniston’s glamour stride for stride! Both ladies turned heads in their breathtaking, sparkling gowns on the red carpet. It was a sight to behold!

Catherine has never brought up the topic of using weight loss medication, and earlier she expressed a desire to steer clear of cosmetic procedures as she grows older.
However, such speculation arose online that she might have relied on weight loss medication, as evidenced by a social media user mentioning her name in a discussion thread concerning celebrities and Ozempic.
Dr. Motykie mentioned that it seemed improbable she was taking the drug, yet her physique maintained a well-defined, toned appearance.
Regardless of whether she lost weight or not, Catherine made a stunning appearance at the Emmys, sharing a laugh-filled moment with her Schitt’s Creek colleagues Eugene and Dan Levy, as well as Annie Murphy.
In a straightforward manner, let’s say that Annie, who is 37 years old, teamed up with Eugene, aged 77, and Dan, at 41, to hand out the final award in the category of Outstanding Comedy Series onstage.

Dan then told Annie they were there to present that person and it actually wasn’t her.
‘I knew that. That I knew,’ Annie quipped.
‘So please welcome our favorite TV mom,’ she added as Catherine, 70, joined them on the stage.
Schitt’s Creek is a humorous TV series from Canada, developed by the duo Eugene and Dan, focusing on the challenges faced by the once affluent Rose family as they navigate their new life in a small town.
In this setup, Eugene portrayed the character of Johnny Rose, who was the head of the family; Catherine took on the role of his wife, Moira Rose; and Dan and Annie embodied their kids, David and Alexis.
This year’s ceremony took place less than a year after the 75th edition of the show.
The event was postponed from its original September 2023 schedule and occurred instead in January, as a result of the writers’ and actors’ strikes.
At the helm once more for the 76th Emmy Awards are the executive producers, Jesse Collins and Dionne Harmon (Emmy Award winners), along with Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, who was nominated for an Emmy. They hail from Jesse Collins Entertainment.
This marks their second consecutive year as producers of television’s biggest night.
The 2024 Emmys ceremony aired live on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
It will also be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
