Scheana Shay’s husband Brock Davies breaks his silence about cheating on his wife when she was pregnant

Brock Davies has broken his silence about cheating on his wife Scheana Shay.

In her forthcoming memoir titled “My Good Side,” Shay, aged 40, discloses that her partner was unfaithful to her during the time she was expecting their current four-year-old child, Summer Moon.

Davies opened up on the Friday during Shay’s podcast Scheananigans.

Davies, at 35 years old, admitted that it was painful to acknowledge that his actions had gone against those he cares about deeply, referring to an unfortunate event that transpired while they were residing in San Diego, California during the pandemic lockdown.

‘It was a sexual affair. There was no dating. There was no courting,’ he said.

The encounter was solely about that meeting, and subsequently, we engaged in sexual activities. This occurred on numerous occasions spanning over a three-week period.

Davies stated that he terminated his casual relationship with an anonymous lady as he expressed regret, stating, “It didn’t feel right, so I decided to stop it.” He further emphasized, “Enough was enough. It wasn’t aligning with my values, and I chose to end it.

In an open conversation, the celebrity acknowledged that he managed to keep silent about his unfaithfulness by downplaying its significance and segregating it in different parts of his mind.

The actor from Lopez vs Lopez confessed that he had shown great fear, stating, ‘He acted out of self-preservation rather than concern for your safety.’

Instead, he went on explaining that his actions were more about personal preservation rather than selfishness, as he put it to Shay.

In my conviction, I thought I wouldn’t repeat the same mistake, allowing us to simply leave this incident behind. However, what transpired was yet another layer of deception, adding to the initial hurt.

During his tumultuous childhood in his homeland, New Zealand, Davies learned to cultivate the strategies he now employs. This challenging upbringing fueled within him an innate desire for success and a strong sense of self-worth derived from his accomplishments.

He said, “It made me become self-centered.” He further added, “Over time, I found it simpler to set aside many of my intense feelings. Moreover, I managed to reduce several harmful traits that I previously possessed.

Reflecting on it now, I see a glaring issue that I once overlooked. It wasn’t until my curiosity led me to delve deeper into the subject that I came to realize, “Wow, I’m unknowingly contributing to this problem. But with newfound knowledge, I can be part of the solution.

In her recently published memoir, it emerged that there was a scandal involving co-stars Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss, as well as speculation about whether Davies had been romantically involved with Leviss. This information ultimately led to Davies admitting something.

In the podcast titled “The Valley,” the celebrity known as The Star didn’t discuss Leviss at all. It’s known that Leviss is currently residing in Arizona, practicing as a sound bowl therapist. However, during the discussion, the star did recall an encounter with friends in San Diego approximately 18 months post-romantic involvement, which led him to realize that his harmful actions could potentially cost him everything.

‘Since then, it has just been building up and building up,’ he revealed. 

‘Every day, just got bigger and bigger and bigger, and the weight was heavier and heavier. 

‘And Scandavol, on the side of it all, was an element, but it wasn’t the core reason.’

He explained to his wife, “I figured out that for us to truly maintain a sincere and honest relationship, it was essential for me to tackle this issue.

‘This was the one thing that was hanging over me. It burned a hole in my heart. It really did.’

In her work, Shay shares that Davies confided in her about his apprehension towards becoming a father once more due to his complex relationship with his children who reside with his former wife and her spouse in Australia. He expressed concerns about potentially being an unfit parent.

He stated that what he did was simply a convenient solution on Friday. However, the truth is, one must put in the effort. In fact, he admitted to having a deep discussion with himself, striving to improve as a husband and father.

He expressed gratitude to his wife for demonstrating a kind of forgiveness he had never encountered before. Moreover, he mentioned that he was proud of her for sharing her narrative, and apologized for it becoming a part of her own story.
