Scheana Shay names best Hollywood hookups as she hints at tryst with an A-lister

Scheana Shay, a cast member on Vanderpump Rules, has openly discussed numerous Hollywood encounters, yet she subtly suggested a romantic involvement with a well-known, high-profile celebrity.

The 40-year-old celebrity, who has just disclosed that her spouse was unfaithful during her pregnancy, shared details about her most notable celebrity paramour and talked candidly about her past romantic encounters with prominent individuals.

On the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, aired on Tuesday, Scheana spoke candidly about the list of high-profile romances from her recently published memoir titled “My Good Side,” which has been available in stores for a month now.

When she made her announcement, a notable roster emerged, featuring the likes of John Mayer, Jesse Metcalfe, Jesse McCartney, JC Chasez, Shane West, Adrian Grenier, William Tell, Ricardo Chavira, Josh Hopkins, Eddie Cibrian, along with players from NFL, NBA, and MLB who remained unnamed.

Yet, she omitted certain high-profile individuals from her hookup list, such as two actors known for their roles in “The Notebook.

During a recent podcast discussion, host Amanda Hirsch noted that Ryan Gosling, then 44 years old and an Academy Award nominee, had played the lead role in the popular 2004 romance film. In response to this, Scheana remained vague, neither confirming nor denying her involvement in the movie.

Among the actors in The Notebook were James Marsden, Kevin Connolly, Sam Shepard, David Thornton, Ed Grady, and Obba Babatunde.

Scheana went on to joke: ‘Maybe there’s another book one day.’

Since their collaboration on the movie “Place Beyond The Pines” in 2011, Ryan and Eva Mendes, another actress, have been in a romantic relationship. They are the proud parents of two children.

He had previously dated A-listers Blake Lively, Sandra Bullock, and Rachel McAdams.

Podcast host Amanda also asked Scheana: ‘Who was, like, the best hookup?’

The Good As Gold hitmaker replied: ‘Shemar [Moore].’

In a candid moment, this versatile individual acknowledged that some of her romantic involvements with famous personalities didn’t succeed. As a result, she began secretly dating men, keeping these relationships discreet.

She confessed: ‘The moment had come for a change. … I had no desire for the pomp and intricacies associated with dating someone renowned. I preferred to be with an individual who remained down-to-earth.’

This occurred several weeks following the disclosure that Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, had been unfaithful to her during the pregnancy of their daughter, Summer, whom they welcomed in April 2021.

In a passage from her previously mentioned book, My Good Side, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared the memory of discovering that her partner had been untrue to her.

She was frozen with disbelief when he admitted to having been unfaithful to her, a revelation made two years ago while they resided in San Diego during the pandemic, and at a time when she was carrying our daughter, Summer. This is what she penned down.

In her discussion about her emotional state, the TV personality expressed: ‘I had been battling my anxiety and trying to reassure myself that because Tom cheated on Ariana, it wouldn’t happen with me and Brock. However, I discovered all too painfully that I was terribly mistaken.’

In that moment, as I sat there, nauseous beyond words, she shared how he confessed that, at the time, he was terrified about becoming a father once more. His fear centered around whether he truly deserved this role. To cope with these feelings, he made a deliberate choice – not under duress or coercion – to be intimate with someone else, she remembered.

The confession by Davies occurred following the revelation of the romantic involvement between her co-stars, Tom Sandoval and Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss, to the public.

After confessing, Shay acknowledged that he couldn’t hold back his anger over his short-lived relationship with a lady from his gym in 2021.

In her writing, she described how she struck him and tossed a Rubik’s cube at him, which he managed to evade. To this very day, whenever she encounters a Rubik’s cube or learns about an F45 gym, it immediately transports her back to that harrowing moment in her past. The sight of a Rubik’s cube and any mention of an F45 gym still bring back those painful memories for her.

In this paraphrase, I tried to make the sentences more natural and easy to read by using present tense verbs (“encounters” instead of “whenever I see,” “brings back” instead of “triggers,” etc.) and adding a bit more context to help clarify the situation.

That very night, Shay disclosed that Davies had handed her a letter he penned a year following their affair’s conclusion.

She noted that he had written a letter containing details she found unnecessary, like the number of times they had intimate encounters, the locations, including those where they hadn’t (our home), among others. Furthermore, he emphasized that these interactions were strictly physical, devoid of emotions, and he consistently practiced safe sex.

Shay pointed out that Davies might not have been sober while writing, which could explain the numerous spelling mistakes.

‘For some reason unknown to her, that incident really got under her skin. It might have been because it seemed like another instance of his negligence,’ she stated. ‘Reading the letter took her back to the weeks preceding her second trimester when, similar to many expectant mothers, she experienced increased sexual desire. She would never forget how, during that period, Brock showed hesitation or perhaps disinterest in engaging with her sexually.’

Back then, I couldn’t help but remember how my casual dismissals seemed to heighten my apprehension and shatter my self-assurance like nothing else.

She clarified, “Now his actions became clearer. After reading it, I felt satisfied with that alone. I instructed him to burn it instantly. I have no intention of ever encountering those phrases again.

Shay too confessed that she was anxious due to rumors suggesting her husband and Leviss might be involved romantically.

She deeply believed that the rumors about Brock and Raquel were completely fabricated… yet a tiny part of her mind occasionally pondered: If Tom and Raquel managed to deceive everyone for seven months, couldn’t Brock and Raquel have pulled off the same trick? This was the question she found herself musing over.

Davies shared the latest development with her while she settled into her seat to catch an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on TV.

She mentioned that Brock expressed concern about the abundance of false information being spread, fearing a genuine truth might emerge. He suggested it would be prudent for her to hear any such truths directly from him, she added.

Shay also detailed the lengths that Davies went to, in order to hide the affair.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself perplexed; his location was always at my fingertips, yet somehow, I’d missed the signs. How on earth did I not spot them earlier? Yet, there was this other phone he used for work – a detail I was aware of but hadn’t kept tabs on. Little did I know, that was their secret channel of communication. Quite clever, isn’t it? She sneered with disdain.

Though deeply distressed by his revelation, she held back her cries so as not to disturb their sleeping child.

The couple, who share four-year-old Summer, began dating in 2019 and got engaged two years later.

They tied the knot in 2022 in front of Vanderpump Rules cameras for all their fans.

She was previously married to music producer Michael Shay from 2014 to 2017.
