Scarlett Moffatt recently disclosed that she plans to wed her partner, Scott Dobinson, next year. Interestingly, she also admitted that she has already been attempting to find the perfect wedding dress, even though they haven’t secured a venue yet.
The beloved star from Gogglebox, aged 34, who became engaged to a policeman in 2023 shortly after the birth of their son Jude, confessed that she is now deeply immersed in the process of planning her wedding.
She shared with The Sun: “I’ve checked out several locations, and surprisingly, I already scheduled an appointment to pick out a wedding gown. Scott reacted by saying, ‘We haven’t decided on a venue yet.’ To which I responded, ‘Oh yes, I realize that, but I just want to have some fun trying it on.’
Scarlett, who initially envisioned a grand, Willy Wonka-style wedding, is now planning for something more modest, yet she still intends to get married in the year 2026.
She mentioned: ‘I’m rather optimistic about the upcoming year, though it might be a bit daring. Organizing a wedding requires quite an effort, but I’ve got it all under control.’
After getting engaged, the pair later revealed the tot’s sweet involvement in the proposal.
On Instagram, Scarlett recently uploaded a set of pictures, among which was one featuring baby Jude in a onesie with the message “Will you marry my daddy?” written on it.
