Saucony’s Trainer 80 Gets a Workwear‑Infused Reinterpretation by Estudio Niksen

The Saucony x Estudio Niksen Trainer 80 is a brown shoe with product code 61227U. It retails for $120 USD and is available for purchase now at Saucony and Estudio Niksen.

Saucony teamed up with Estudio Niksen to create a special version of the Trainer 80 sneaker, and photographer William Arcand shot the campaign to promote it.

The new Trainer 80 sneaker, released with Estudio Niksen’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, is showcased in photos shot entirely on film, creating a vintage look that reflects the shoe’s comfortable, lived-in style. The design takes inspiration from a slower pace of life outside the city – think relaxed mornings and spontaneous adventures – and updates Saucony’s classic Trainer 80 with a practical, workwear feel. The campaign photos, by Arcand, capture this vibe by using natural light and interesting textures to highlight the shoe’s quality and feel.

This sneaker combines a breathable, durable mesh upper with rugged suede details. Subtle textures and design elements, like zig-zag stitching and an embroidered logo, add visual interest. Comfort is enhanced with a leather-lined collar, a custom insole, and extra laces. The shoe’s earthy brown color scheme creates a natural, grounded look. The sole provides stability and grip, drawing on Saucony’s running shoe heritage while keeping the overall design versatile for everyday wear.

The shoes feature subtle branding, with Saucony’s logos discreetly placed on the tongue and heel to highlight the quality materials and careful design. They also come in a special box, adding to the feeling that each pair is carefully made and personalized.
