Sarah Paulson thinks it’s ‘time’ people start taking Kim Kardashian ‘seriously’ as an actress
As a dedicated follower of both captivating performances and the fascinating world of Hollywood, I am thrilled about Sarah Paulson’s upcoming collaboration with Kim Kardashian in All’s Fair. Having had a few pleasant encounters with Kim in the past, I can confidently say that her presence will make for an enjoyable experience on set. Her role as a high-powered divorce attorney in this series seems like a perfect fit, especially considering her real-life interest in law.
Sarah Paulson is looking forward to acting with Kim Kardashian in the legal drama All’s Fair.
49-year-old celebrity is set to collaborate with the reality TV empress in Ryan Murphy’s series focusing on a women’s-only divorce law firm. The star anticipates having an enjoyable experience with Kardashian, given their past interactions.
In every encounter we’ve had, she has been exceptionally kind to me. I see no indication that our future interactions won’t be wonderful, in fact, I anticipate they will be fantastic and enjoyable. The Ratched actress expressed this enthusiasm to Us Weekly during the premiere of her latest movie, Hold Your Breath, on Friday.
The Golden Globe added: ‘My experience with Kim Kardashian has always been one of real joy. I love watching The Kardashians.’
Previously, Kim has graced the screen in the anthology series “American Horror Story: Delicate,” and it’s clear that Paulson holds no doubts about her acting skills.
She expressed that our current world seems quite frightening with numerous disturbing elements associated with simply existing and surviving on Earth. However, it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate instances like a group of women collaborating to produce a television series.
Paulson expressed her strong belief to Yahoo Entertainment that it’s high time we regard Kim Kardashian as a legitimate actress.
‘She was absolutely excellent in American Horror Story: Delicate,’ the actress continued.
The Tampa native predicted that their upcoming show ‘is going to be a tremendous amount of fun’ and Kardashian will be ‘glorious on it.’
‘I have absolutely no doubt about that. Zero,’ she said of Kardashian’s abilities.
At 43 years old, Kardashian is now pursuing a law degree and is thrilled about the opportunity to delve into the legal realm on camera through her upcoming show.
Earlier this year, she shared with Variety: “I’m set to portray a strong divorce attorney. If the name Laura Wasser rings a bell for anyone, that’s the role I’ll be embodying… I’m thrilled about it! Ryan’s faith in me to tackle this project is incredibly meaningful. It feels like such a perfect fit for me as a character since I could practically be a lawyer in real life and act as one on screen.
The announcement of All’s Fair marked its debut in December, making it the initial show under Murphy’s newly established overall agreement with Disney.
The series will depict Kim as a strong divorce attorney based in Los Angeles, leading an accomplished women’s law firm.
The character might take inspiration from Laura Wasser, a real-life attorney who has worked for the Kardashians, specifically during their divorce cases with Kanye West and Kris Humphries.
The series “All’s Fair” was developed by the talented duo, Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. They are renowned for their work on shows such as “Brothers & Sisters,” as well as “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans.
Besides Kim, some renowned actresses like Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash will share the screen with her as well.
As a devoted fan, I found myself in a predicament when Halle Berry had to withdraw from the prestigious cast of our beloved show, all because of an unavoidable scheduling issue, mere days after her inclusion was announced.
She was also expected to be among the show’s executive producers.
Kardashian, along with her mother/manager Kris Jenner and Murphy, will all serve as executive producers, working alongside Baitz and Baken on the project.
Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine will also serve as writers and executive producers.
In addition, Close is also a co-executive producer, alongside Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, and Scott Robertson.
The production for the series is set to begin towards the end of this year, and it was among five television productions that received a portion of $58 million in California tax incentives.
The performance will likely be recorded for 97 days in California, along with an extra 10 days in locations beyond Los Angeles.
Hulu is expected to release the show sometime in 2025 though no premiere date has been given yet.
