Sarah Jessica Parker reunites with Sex and the City co-star in Paris

As a huge fan of Sex and the City, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson, who played Carrie Bradshaw and Louise Frederick in the iconic movie franchise, had reunited in Paris! Their sweet reunion outside the Eiffel Tower brought back so many memories of their unforgettable friendship on screen.

Two actors, who appeared in “Sex and the City: The Movie” back in 2008, had a heartwarming encounter in Paris during the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.

“Who did I bump into in Paris?! That’s Hudson, smiling with Parker next to the iconic Eiffel Tower as seen in this lovely picture she shared.”

She remarked, with a nod to the beloved film’s duo: “Carrie and Louise finally reconnected! Love proves to be the strongest bond.”

Back in the late ’90s to early 2000s, I was glued to my TV screen every week, immersed in the world of “Sex and the City.” It ran from 1998 till 2004, but the story didn’t end there. Fast forward to 2008 and 2010, I found myself back in the city, as two feature-length movies hit the screens, continuing the saga of these fabulous women.

After the scrapping of plans for a third movie, it was announced that a new series called “And Just Like That” would be produced instead. In this show, Sarah Jessica Parker, along with her costars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, will reappear.

Currently, the HBO series is shooting its third season in New York City. Pictures taken on set hint at a potential character demise.

In the upcoming episodes, Carrie, Miranda (previously known as Miranda Nixon), Charlotte (formerly Charlotte Davies), and Aidan (real name John Corbett) were spotted huddled together, all clad in mourning attire, implying a possible funeral scene.

In the upcoming third season, it appears that Miranda might have a new romantic interest, as hinted by some additional scene photographs. This is speculated since her previous partner Che Diaz, portrayed by Sara Ramirez known for her role in Grey’s Anatomy, won’t be returning.

Based on the set photographs, it seems that the lawyer may have met her equal in a fresh character called Joy. This role is portrayed by the talented actress Dolly Wells, best known for her work in “Inside Man.”

In the United States, And Just Like That, the new installment of Sex and the City, will be broadcasted on Max. meanwhile, viewers in the UK can watch it on Sky Comedy and NOW.
