Sarah Jessica Parker cuts a typically stylish figure in silver top and baggy trousers as she films And Just Like That in NYC

As an ardent fan who’s been following Sarah Jessica Parker‘s career since the days of Carrie Bradshaw’s Manolo Blahnik obsession, I can confidently say that SJP continues to dazzle us with her impeccable style and charm. Watching her film And Just Like That in New York City feels like a walk down memory lane, yet the silver stripes on her top hint at a fresh, modern twist.

On Monday, Sarah Jessica Parker showcased her signature style while filming And Just Like That in New York City.

In the role of Carrie Bradshaw within the Sex And The City reboot, I had the pleasure of donning an absolutely stunning silver and black striped blouse on set today.

In the movie, the actress donned a pair of loose, pale gray slacks, and elevated her silhouette with a shimmery pair of silver heels.

Letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders, Sarah added to her oufit with a tote bag with a ‘Flip It’ graffiti print. 

The actress completed her look for the evening with an eye-catching chunky gold necklace.  

In a new series spin-off, Sarah acts alongside Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis as they portray the characters Carrie, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York, all now in their fifties.

The show premiered on HBO Max in 2021, with the second season following in 2023. 

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement over the return of Sex and the City, even if Kim Cattrall, our beloved Samantha Jones, didn’t reprise her role for the entire series. However, the season two finale offered a delightful surprise when she graced us with a cameo appearance!

The third season is slated to air some time in 2025. 

At the point of renewal, showrunner Michael Patrick King made an announcement: ‘We’re excited to delve deeper into the Sex And The City universe, sharing fresh tales about the lives of these identifiable and inspiring characters portrayed by such talented actors. And Just Like That… here comes season 3.’

Earlier this year, Sarah teased what fans can expect to see in the upcoming installment.

During her visit to the Today Show, she described the upcoming season as having a light and airy feel, similar to a soufflé. She also mentioned that it simply feels very delightful.

Indeed, I anticipate that there will be multiple dimensions, intricacies, and potential complexities – much like what we’ve come to expect from Carrie’s life, I’ve observed.

In July, she was spotted shooting scenes with her frequent collaborator John Corbett, who portrays her romantic interest Aidan Shaw.

The pair seemed smartly dressed in their monochrome ensembles while performing a scene, possibly for an important occasion within the series. Whether it was a joyous wedding, solemn funeral, or another significant formal affair remained uncertain since the nature of their attendance was not immediately discernible.
