30-year-old actress flaunted her stunning physique in a striking navy crop top without straps that billowed, paired elegantly with a long skirt that touched the floor.
The Brooklyn star added inches to her frame in a pair of towering heels and opted for a dazzling silver choker necklace.
Saoirse appeared cheerful as she snuggled close to her husband Jack, both of them dressed elegantly in matching navy double-breasted tuxedos.
The newlywed pair snuggled close for pictures on the glittering red carpet before the commencement of the awards event in July.
After Saoirse confessed that she and her husband Jack had set “lofty standards” for each other, as they collaborated on her latest movie project.
In the upcoming drama “The Outrun,” Saoirse portrays Rona, a fragile character who is in the initial phases of healing from alcoholism. After completing her treatment at a rehabilitation center, she decides to start anew on the Orkney Islands.
A subject close to her heart, the actress – who admits to having seen the impact of addiction on some of her closest friends – also co-produced the film with husband Jack.
Saoirse mentioned that she shares a powerful creative connection with her friend, Jack, whom she uniquely calls by his full name.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, she shared, “Jack Lowden and I aimed to portray Rona authentically, ensuring that while her life primarily revolves around alcohol, we don’t forget that she’s a person too, relatable to many.
If you come across individuals whom you both love and trust in terms of creativity, wouldn’t it be logical to continue collaborating with them?
In our interactions, we both hold each other to a very high standard. When I attempted to use Rona’s Orcadian accent during ‘The Outrun’, he responded by saying, “Are you really doing that?
The actress acknowledges that she was able to tap into a rich reservoir of past experiences during her preparation, as she has personally experienced the heartache and destruction brought about by addiction.
She said: ‘I’ve watched people I love change because of addiction. There’s a helplessness you feel when you watch someone you love — friends my age and one in particular who I’m close to — go through that.
“The image seared into my memory is the moment when a person’s gaze changes, and they seem to disappear before my eyes.
In my pursuit of this position, I recognized that when one is overshadowed by alcohol, feelings of resentment can arise. To ensure a fair and unbiased approach, I chose to set aside my personal emotions related to this issue. Furthermore, I made a conscious effort to let go of any lingering anger associated with it.
This year’s Primetime Emmy Awards, marking its 76th edition, will take place on Sunday, September 15, at the Peacock Theater located in Los Angeles, California. The event aims to recognize and celebrate the finest achievements in television.
The event will be overseen by Eugene Levy and his son, Dan Levy – a historic first for fathers and sons, as they’ll be co-hosting together.
In 2020, the actors took home their own respective Emmy Awards for their work on their hit series, Schitt’s Creek, which they created and starred in for six seasons.
The prospect of hosting this year’s event in a real theater, instead of a quarantine tent like the ones that brought two Canadians their Emmys, was motivation enough for them, as they shared in a statement to Vanity Fair last month, when they confirmed their hosting role.

In the award nominations, Kristen Wiig has been recognized for her outstanding work in two categories: she’s up for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Apple TV+’s Palm Royale, and she’s also nominated as Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series due to her hosting stint on Saturday Night Live.
According to a statement obtained by E! News, Wiig expressed her shock, stating, “I’m still in shock over here!” She expressed happiness for everyone involved in Palm Royale and SNL, as well as her fellow nominees. These selections – Baby Reindeer, Fargo, Lessons In Chemistry, Ripley, and True Detective – have been nominated in the category of Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
For Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie the nominations were: Jodie Foster for True Detective, Brie Larson in Lessons in Chemistry, Juno Temple in Fargo, Sofia Vergara for Griselda and Naomi Watts for Feud.
In the categories of Exceptional Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or TV Movie, Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers), Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), Jon Hamm (Fargo), Tom Hollander (Feud), and Andrew Scott (Ripley) were recognized for their outstanding work.
2021’s Distinguished Female Lead Actresses in Drama Series were awarded to Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show), Carrie Coon (The Gilded Age), Maya Erskine (Mr. and Mrs. Smith), Anna Sawai (Shogun), Imelda Stanton (The Crown), and Reese Witherspoon (also for The Morning Show).
2022 saw remarkable performances by several actresses in comedy series: Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Selena Gomez (Only Murders In The Building), Maya Rudolph (Loot), Jean Smart (hacks), and Kristen Wiig (Palm Royale) were all standout choices in their respective roles.
The nominees for Outstanding Reality Competition Program went to Amazing Race, RuPaul Drag Race, Top Chef, The Traitors and The Voice.
This year’s ceremony will take place less than a year after the 75th edition of the show.
The event was postponed from its original September 2023 schedule and happened instead in January, as a result of the writers’ and actors’ strikes.
Jesse Collins, a multiple Emmy Award winner, along with Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, who has been nominated for an Emmy, will once again serve as executive producers for the upcoming 76th Emmy Awards, overseen by Jesse Collins Entertainment.
This marks their second consecutive year as producers of television’s biggest night.
The 2024 Emmys ceremony airs live on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
It will also be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
