On July 9, SNK Interactive Co., Ltd. unveiled plans to release their role-playing game, “Samurai Shodown R,” which features sword combat and action, on both Android and iOS devices. The original “Samurai Shodown” was introduced in March 2022 as part of the ACA NEOGEO series, and the open beta test for this new version is currently active.

The video game titled SAMURAI SHODOWN R is an action role-playing game featuring sword fights. This game revives the original fast-paced combat and intricate combos, even surpassing them from the classic arcade version. It’s part of the renowned Samurai Shodown series, which was initially introduced as a fighting game in 1993.

In this game, you’ll have an opportunity to join thrilling, high-pressure battles where timing and strong attacks are vitally important. What really gets me pumped is the comeback of beloved characters such as Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Ukyo. On top of that, each character has their own distinctive fighting techniques and special abilities.
