Sami Richards Blasts Dad Charlie Sheen Over OnlyFans Rift
In simpler terms, Sami Richards, Denise Richard’s daughter, discussed the strained bond she has with her father, Charlie Sheen, due to his past disapproval of her work on OnlyFans.
In Tuesday’s episode of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” the reality star, aged 21, opted against having a lunch meeting with her father, who is 59 years old, when given the opportunity during a lunch with her mother and sister Lola, who is 19 years old.
Sami expressed that he’d much prefer doing any other activity instead of having lunch with his father, as he shared in a private moment.
54-year-old Richard shared with the cameras that Sami and Charlie have had disagreements throughout the years. He mentioned that both their daughters have experienced a significant amount of challenges with their father.
Samantha observed that there hasn’t been much communication between her and the former Two and a Half Men star over the last five months.
According to Sami, his relationship with someone has been in large segments. He believes that during the initial 13 years of his life, it was quite challenging, but there was a period where things improved for a couple of years. Now, he says, it’s just manageable again.
Richards acknowledged that due to his father’s history of substance abuse issues, he can empathize with Sami’s feelings.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star expressed that there haven’t been perfect relationships between him and Lola, or any of his children for that matter. He hopes that he acknowledges this, as he might be missing out on something important.
Sami asserted that Charlie was significantly lacking by not having a close bond with her.
Apart from his two daughters with Richard, Charlie also has a daughter, Cassandra Estevez (aged 40), who he shares with his former high school sweetheart, Paula Profit. Additionally, he has twin sons, Bob and Max (both 17 years old), with his ex, Brooke Mueller.
When she was 17, Sami moved out of her mother Denise Richards’ home and moved in with her father.
Sami made headlines by signing up for OnlyFans in June 2022, just a few months following her 18th birthday, which left Charlie unhappy.
In 2023, he acknowledged his immediate, perhaps instinctive response, upon learning she started creating adult content on the platform.
He mentioned that his immediate response was based on the preconceived notions about it, which were attached to her career decision beforehand.
In the most recent installment of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Lola expressed that their relationship has seen significant improvement, regarding their growing bond as a fortunate and positive development.
She shared that they often have pedicures together about once every two to three weeks, and it’s something they truly enjoy doing together.
Over lunch, Lola noted that her sister definitely inherited their dad’s ‘dark humor.’
He asked, “How is she doing?” and “Is she okay?” Lola admitted that they had been having some differences, so she wasn’t sure about her friend’s state.
The pair and Richards opted to have lunch at a restaurant that Lola use to work at as a hostess.
As I looked back on those moments, I realized that none of the team members here had known that you were my father. Quite surprisingly, when we took a picture together, they assumed I was merely a fan.
After Charlie wondered if Lola hid her identity due to embarrassment or for his protection, Lola clarified that she preferred not to be singled out and treated differently.
In the debut episode of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things”, Lola shared that she usually seeks advice from her father.
At times, I can become quite excited during conversations with my mom and Sami. So, I decided to chat with my dad for a bit instead, and he provided some much-needed assistance. He’s really skilled at offering help because he’s extremely logical.
Lola explained that her sister, Sami, ‘cannot understand’ her way of thinking.
The remark was made that many find it remarkable I am a devout woman, to which I replied by referencing an article that described me as an ‘apple falling far from the tree,’ in essence.
People are often surprised that I’m religious, so I mentioned an article that called me an “apple falling far from the tree,” meaning I don’t fit the typical expectations of what a devout person might be like because I come from a different background.
She playfully pointed out that she and Sami share the bond of being relatives, since they both belong to the same family.
During the same episode, Richards described Lola as ‘like a fairy.’
The actress described her as being particularly gentle and delicate. She’s quite fragile. Due to her naivety, she seems unlike most 19-year-olds who are part of a famous Hollywood family in Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, Lola revealed on Instagram that she got baptized after hitting ‘rock bottom.’
She remembered feeling utterly adrift and bereft of hope, merely struggling to get through each day. She had come to terms with the idea that her life would remain this way indefinitely, believing she would never truly laugh again.
After discovering her faith, she expressed that religion had saved her from a state of despair and given her life a sense of purpose following her struggle with intense anxiety.
She decided to be baptized at the start of this year since she managed to survive this year with the power of Jesus, and she is incredibly joyful about embarking on the next year.
