Samantha Armytage has revealed something unexpected after her separation from her husband, Richard Lavender.

Jesse Palmer, the host of The Golden Bachelor, recently announced his split from his husband at the end of last year. He was a guest on Wednesday’s episode of The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show, where he discussed whether he believes he’ll find love again.

‘Of course I’ll find love again,’ the 49-year-old said, before bursting out into fits of laughter.

‘I mean, I’m keeping my options open,’ she cheekily added. 

She continued to assure fans, saying: ‘I am fine. Don’t worry about me, I’m having fun as always.’

Nine Star mentioned she plans to start dating again, but she’ll be more selective about who she chooses.

I’m confident I’ll find love again, though I’m not sure when. When the moment is right, the right person will come along, and I’ll be sure to recognize it.

Ever since attending the Logies earlier this year, people have been speculating about a romantic connection between Samantha and Golden Bachelor star, Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden.

When the dating show premiered on Monday, many viewers felt a connection between the two stars, even though they both claimed there wasn’t one.

After the first episode aired, viewers quickly took to social media, buzzing about a noticeable connection between Bear, 61, and Sam.

Some watching at home even joked that Sam would have liked to keep a rose for herself.

One person shared on X that they’ve seen enough reality dating shows to know the most interesting couples often involve the contestant falling for someone who works on the show – and they wouldn’t mind seeing a romance between Bear and Sam.

Someone playfully commented that people would react violently when they found out Sam Armytage had used her dog, Bear, to mow all the lawns, and included a GIF of a fight to illustrate the imagined scene.

One commenter noted the strong connection between Samantha Armytage and Bear, suggesting he seems to like her a lot and questioning if they are in a relationship.

The reality show’s leading man responded to the talk of the town ahead of the series’ big debut.

Bear was at the premiere of The Golden Bachelor in Sydney on Monday and excitedly told Daily Mail about how great his co-star is.

‘She was sensational. She was great,’ he said of Samantha’s time hosting the inaugural season.

‘I used her as a mentor the whole way through and she said, ‘follow your heart,’ which I did.’

When asked about the rumors surrounding his relationship with the TV star, he immediately denied them.

He acknowledged the rumors, saying, ‘It’s not surprising people are talking, but they’re just that – rumors.’
