On Monday, the newly recognized Channel Nine celebrity shared selfie photos on Instagram Stories, taken at an exclusive tennis tournament.

Before settling into the stands, the 48-year-old snapped a picture with a Channel Nine tennis ball-shaped decoration as the backdrop.

She was unable to suppress her grin while seated alongside friend Allison Langdon, labeling pictures for Nine.

Sam also stopped to take a selfie with friend Stephanie Snelling as they took in the match.

The popular TV personality exuded elegance, donning a chic black-and-white gown and a comprehensive ensemble of sophisticated makeup.

In the past few weeks, Sam has found herself swamped with fresh work responsibilities. She recently unveiled her newest project by sharing a delightful message on Instagram.

She snuggled close to a charming Labrador while sharing the news that she’s now serving as an ambassador for Guide Dogs Australia.

She expressed great enthusiasm, happiness, and pride in her post, sharing that she is now an ambassador for Guide Dogs Australia – a truly exceptional, sincere, and reliable organization.

Sam expressed, “I’ve held a deep affection for them all along, and now I’m an integral part of their endeavor. Their mission is crucial; it empowers visually impaired individuals to lead meaningful, secure, and productive lives.

Over the upcoming weeks, I can hardly contain my excitement as I eagerly search for caring individuals who are willing to open their hearts and homes to our future guide dog heroes. These loving homes will provide a safe environment for our precious puppies, nurturing them until they’re ready for training and eventually embarking on life-changing journeys as incredible guide dogs.

Sam went on to pay tribute to her own Labrador, Banjo, who tragically died in February last year. 

It’s no secret that I have a deep affection for Labradors, and given the nature of this position, it seems tailor-made for me. I’ve attached some images of my cherished dog, Banjo, whom I think about daily.

Following our parting ways with my husband, Richard Lavender, I celebrated my first solitary Christmas – a significant shift in my life’s rhythm.

‘Cuddles with these pups healed my heart a lot. Bring on 2025,’ she wrote. 

On the night before their fourth wedding anniversary, Sam parted ways with the horse-related entrepreneur Richard, who is 61 years old.

She started dating Richard in April 2019, and they announced their engagement in June 2020.

On New Year’s Eve of that very year, they exchanged vows at a scenic location, his 40-hectare estate nestled in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Toward the end of last year, it was first disclosed exclusively by sources to Daily Mail Australia that they had parted ways. Later, Samantha herself confirmed this, stating that they had ended their relationship in a friendly manner.

As for me, I’ve parted ways with Richard. Breakups are always tough, but since ours is friendly, it makes the process a little easier. We both genuinely hope for the best in each other’s lives.

Nevertheless, a Warner Bros casting official has disclosed that they have encountered some difficulties in the process of seeking mature individuals searching for romance.

Many people may not have an iPhone or a computer of their own, having only learned about the show from the news.

The source shared that they needed to adjust the auditioning method to increase the variety of actors they could consider.

Initially, the number of applications was low, but after encouraging people to suggest their grandparents, there has been an increase in submissions, as stated.

In November, it emerged that The Golden Bachelor had been searching for potential contestants using an unconventional method.

At the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, a representative from Channel Nine’s talent search team was seen distributing their contact information to participants.

According to the Daily Telegraph, casting agent Ivanna Tang chose an unconventional approach by trying to attract horse racing spectators for the upcoming spin-off series.

The producers are actively working on selecting a suitable Bachelor for their show, and they’re optimistic about making a decision regarding the main actor within the next few weeks.

In Australia, the rights for The Golden Bachelor have been obtained by nine, and it’s Samantha who has been tapped to be the host of this popular reality dating program.

Samantha got involved with the casting call, urging people to give their family members a ‘nudge’.

Host Samantha, known for “Outgoing Farmer Wants A Wife,” surprised viewers in August as she announced her departure from Seven Network following a 21-year tenure. Speculation about her future plans ran rampant at the time.

At Nine’s Upfronts event held in November, her upcoming television role on The Golden Bachelor was officially revealed, which is when the network disclosed their schedule of programs for the year 2025 to attendees.

In the video interview with 9Entertainment, Samantha expressed her belief that everyone will find this wonderful. She referred to it as a fondness for the bygone eras, or more simply, a nostalgic affection for times long past.

Upon receiving the invitation to take part in the show, I jumped at the opportunity without a second thought. Given the massive popularity of The Golden Bachelor in the U.S., I believe it will also capture the hearts of Australians.

Warner Bros Australia initially ignited talk about a domestic adaptation of the show around November 2023 by casting calls for “entertaining, energetic, and sociable gentlemen aged 60 or above who have been divorced or widowed” to participate in a fresh dating program.

Initially in the American adaptation, the lead role for The Golden Bachelor was filled by Gerry Turner, a 72-year-old widower and father of two, while the spin-off, The Golden Bachelorette, debuted with widow Joan Vassos, aged 61, searching for romance.

In simpler terms, the U.S. adaptation of the show has been incredibly popular, attracting a massive audience of 6.1 million viewers for its finale – the highest viewership for the final episode of The Bachelor in America since 2021.
