Sam Thompson reveals Love Islander invited him to the Hideaway after making a VERY steamy remark about him

According to Sam Thompson, a contestant from Love Island asked him for a private meeting at the Hideaway following an extremely flirtatious comment they made about him.

In their latest episode of “Staying Relevant,” Sam reminisced about a conversation he had with Pete Wicks. This chat revolved around an interaction Sam had with contestant Helena Ford, who is 29 years old and featured in this year’s show. During the discussion, Sam mentioned that Helena had asked him to visit the Hideaway.

After a reemergence of a tweet from Helena dated back to 2017, just prior to the Love Island finale, she extended an offer. In that tweet, she had inquired about the application process for an opportunity to be seated near Sam Thompson’s face.

In the podcast, Pete, who is 36 years old, playfully teased Sam, who is 33, by inquiring if Helena had given Sam a special treat for his birthday and jokingly remarked that Sam sat on his nose when they eventually met each other.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share that at Aftersun, Sam confessed he indeed struck up a chat with the captivating Helena. To put it in my own words, here’s how it went down: ‘Well, you see, there she was seated on a stall, and I just had to approach her and say, “Hi Helena, how are you?” And guess what? She responded, “We really need to talk. I believe you already know the topic at hand.”‘

I asked if she was referring to the embarrassing incident with the falling chair, and she seemed to change the subject by mentioning that the secret room is now free.

The comment shocked Sam’s podcast co-host Pete, whose jaw-dropped at the remark.  

I must admit, she handled the banter exceptionally well and even dished out some of her own. Kudos to her!

‘And I can only wish her godspeed on whatever journey she decides to go on.’

In response, the conversation ensued following Pete’s reference to an old tweet by Helena concerning Sam, which had been discussed during a prior podcast episode.

Helena’s tweet once read, ‘Where can I sign up to be near Sam Thompson’s face?’ She was asking this question on behalf of a friend.”

This paraphrase aims to maintain the original meaning while making it more polite and easy to understand for a wider audience.

Pete hinted to Sam that he and Helena might meet on Aftersun. In response, the star of Made In Chelsea expressed that he wouldn’t have any issue approaching her.

Following the sharing of the podcast video on TikTok, Helena posted a comment that reads: “My nickname ‘Hidden Helena’ isn’t without reason.

Following Monday, Sam had to inform Jamie Lee Curtis about his separation from Zara McDermott – a union that Curtis had earlier predicted would lead to marriage.

During a chat on his Hits Radio Breakfast Show, the reality star met up again with the actress (who is 66 years old). They fondly recalled her earlier visit to the show, an occasion when the reality star was still in a relationship with Zara.

Sam shared that on the very first show of his career on the station, Jamie was his inaugural guest. Being extremely nervous, he ended up telling a white lie, which ultimately prompted Jamie to ask him to propose in a unique way – by getting down on one knee.

Earlier this year, Jamie admitted with some embarrassment, “When we last met, on my first day here, I might have misled you about pre-drinks and you mentioned you were sober.” Notably, Jamie has been celebrating 26 years of sobriety.

In the heat of the moment, Sam found himself feeling anxious about potentially offending his guest. So, to avoid any discomfort, he honestly admitted that he too abstained from alcohol consumption.

In a cheerful tone, I admitted, “I indeed told you something untrue,” echoing Jamie’s words, and the host responded by saying, “I openly deceived you right then and there.

Sam found himself needing to improvise a story spontaneously when Jamie asked if he had chosen to stop drinking alcohol, as he hadn’t actually made that decision yet.

In response to my statement, “I’m attempting to stop drinking because my girlfriend doesn’t, and I admire that about her,” you expressed, “That’s one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said.” Following this, you jokingly suggested, “Maybe it’s time for a ring!

In response, Jamie playfully added, “I suggested, ‘Let’s get married,’ but with a hopeful tone, I inquired, only to receive a laugh and the reply, ‘Sorry, we split up!’

‘Because you were drunk!’ the Hollywood actress quipped as the studio collapsed into giggles.  

Sam and Zara, both aged 28, concluded their five-year partnership in December, after spending the holiday season apart.
