Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson set for awkward encounter THIS weekend at Soccer Aid – three months after it was revealed One Direction star was dating his ex Zara McDermott

This weekend, Sam Thompson is preparing for an uncomfortable run-in with Louis Tomlinson at Soccer Aid. Three months ago, Louis began dating Sam’s former partner, Zara McDermott.

On Friday, Sam ran a five-day, 260-mile marathon for UNICEF, and it turns out that the same organization will be supported by the men who form England’s team.

And while Sam has insisted there are ‘no hard feelings’, the encounter is bound to sting a little. 

32-year-old Sam, a previous participant on Love Island, and his 28-year-old partner Zara announced their breakup in January, having been together for over five years.

After the announcement of their relationship in March, it seems that Zara has swiftly progressed without any issues alongside singer Louis, who appears to be deeply smitten with her, and they’ve been virtually inseparable ever since.

In a recent episode of Staying Relevant, Pete Wicks, aged 37, playfully hinted at the possibility of an uncomfortable meeting between him and Louis that occurred last month.

The Reality TV Star Inquired of His Co-Host, “It seems like you’re undergoing a lot with your body, diet, and exercise routine. Is all this for Soccer Aid?

Sam chuckled and affirmed that he was enjoying himself, yet clarified that, in fact, it wasn’t the game itself he was fond of, but rather, Pete queried if he might have been mistaken about it being for Soccer Aid. It’s possible that Sam has more free time to develop his relationship with Samie, as they have just publicly shared details about their bond for the first time.

Initially, Sam crossed paths with Samie, a contestant from Love Island in 2023 and a returnee for the All Stars edition this year, during his hosting duties on Aftersun.

For the very first time, Samie shared insights into their burgeoning connection during a chat on the Chloe Mediumship podcast.

In this episode, the talk show features a spiritual advisor who shared her experiences of having intuitive warnings about past romantic connections that ultimately turned out to be unfavorable.

She shared: “I’ve experienced intuitive feelings with men in the past. In a few relationships, I’ve had a sense that it wasn’t going to work out. It was as if each day brought confirmation that it would not last, that it wasn’t meant for me.
