Sam Fender announces huge tour in UK, Ireland and Europe for 2024 and 2025 - but some fans must meet VERY specific condition

As a die-hard fan of Sam Fender, hailing from Newcastle myself, I must admit I am beyond ecstatic about his upcoming tour! It’s not every day that one of our own hometown heroes embarks on such a massive journey, touching the hearts of fans across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Sam Fender has unveiled plans for an extensive tour titled “People Watching” spanning the UK, Ireland, and Europe from 2024 to 2025. However, there’s a particular requirement that fans must fulfill to attend.

I, as a devoted fan, am thrilled to share that the singer I admire turns 30 this year and marks the milestone by embarking on a tour starting December 2nd in Dublin. From there, he’s bound for Leeds, Manchester, London, Birmingham, and finally Glasgow. It’s an unparalleled opportunity to witness his live performance across these iconic cities!

However, if you’re planning to catch Sam at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, remember that tickets will only be sold to people residing in areas with postcodes starting with NE, DH, SR, DL, or TS.

The musician will end the UK leg of his People Watching tour on December 20 in Newcastle.

In about two months, Sam plans to resume his journeys on the highway, marking exactly two years since his UK tour in 2022.

2025 finds me embarking on a whirlwind European tour! In March, I’ll be gracing stages in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands for a grand total of nine unforgettable gigs. I simply can’t contain my excitement!

Tickets go on general sale on October 25 at 10am, with fans only limited to buy four tickets each.

A ballet for tickets to his Newcastle gigs is currently open and will close on Monday 21.

Sam has released two albums: Hypersonic Missiles in 2019 and Seventeen Going Under in 2021.

Shortly following the debut of Seventeen Going Under, Sam had to postpone several headlining shows in the U.S., prioritizing instead his mental well-being.

He said at the time: ‘It seems completely hypocritical of me to advocate discussion on mental health and write songs about it if I don’t take the time to look after my own mental health.

For well over a year, I’ve been putting myself last, failing to address issues that have left a profound impact on me.

As a lifestyle guide, let me share my thoughts: It’s challenging to prioritize self-care when I’m constantly traveling, and maintaining a facade of positivity for professional purposes can be draining.

Sam, a person who often performs without charge, expressed on Twitter and Instagram that he was “indefatigably touched by the affection and encouragement of our followers” and felt regretful for disappointing them.

In the deluge of positive comments, there was a message from Gwyneth Paltrow, expressing: ‘This is wonderful. We care for you deeply. Take care of yourself.’

Earlier, the artist from North Shields mentioned that the title of his second album, “Seventeen Going Under,” was inspired by his personal battles with mental health and his therapy experiences.

In a post on social media, he mentioned: ‘My overall health is influencing everything I engage in, even my performances. I won’t step onto the stage without giving it my best each and every time, because that’s all you all deserve.’
