Sam Armytage shows off glamorous makeover amid talk that she will replace Sarah Abo on the Today show

Sam Armytage may be heading back to breakfast television.

The TV host is ready for her close-up, having noticeably changed her look for the better in recent months.

Okay, let me tell you, I spotted a fantastic look on Instagram yesterday! A gorgeous woman, looking absolutely fabulous at 49, was stepping out for a lovely lunch. She was wearing this stunning white lace dress by Carla Zampatti – so chic and flattering! It just proves you can feel confident and stylish at any age.

The blonde bombshell wore her hair in a retro style flip and added a pair of beige sandals.

Sam completed her outfit with a stylish straw and leather purse, complemented by bold gold hoop earrings and several bangles.

The Golden Bachelor host was out for the launch of Dame Quentin Bryce’s new biography.

Rumors are circulating that Natalie Armytage, who previously hosted Sunrise, is being considered to replace Sarah Abo as Karl Stefanovic’s co-host on the Today show.

If the wave of online backlash is anything to go by, Nine may be wise to reconsider its options.

Viewers are upset about reports that 39-year-old Abo might be replaced by 49-year-old Armytage, a well-known figure in the industry, as the network tries to boost ratings and compete with the ‘Sunrise’ program.

One viewer expressed concern about the show ‘Today’ undergoing too many changes, pointing to recent shifts in its sports coverage and plans for a new weekend team. They felt replacing Sarah was unnecessary and wouldn’t improve viewership.

Everyone seemed content with how things were. One person said there was no need for changes, while another jokingly predicted disaster for Channel 9 if anything *did* change.

‘Sarah over Sam any day of the week. Sarah has a great and genuine vibe,’ yet another wrote.

One viewer said that Sarah is essential to the show and if she leaves, they’ll stop watching. They also enjoy how well the whole team works together and their playful back-and-forth.

Many users threatened to abandon the program altogether if Armytage took the helm.

‘If Sam is in, I am out,’ one wrote, while another agreed: ‘If they lose Sarah, they lose me!’

One viewer said they’d switch to Channel 7 if Samantha Armytage took over from Sarah, while another stated they stopped watching ‘Sunrise’ because of her and would return to watching if she appeared on ‘Today’.

Okay, so someone *finally* said what I’ve been thinking! It would be SO dumb to start getting all invested in Theresa before we even *see* her on The Golden Bachelor! Like, don’t get too attached right away, people! It’s just… premature, you know? We need to see her shine first!

They were hesitant to feature Sam in their show, worried about potential negative reactions. They explained that if *The Golden Bachelor* doesn’t perform well, having her on *Today* could be awkward.

Some users have even argued that Stefanovic, 51, should be the one given the boot.

A viewer expressed frustration with Nine’s hosting choices, stating that Karl should be replaced instead of Sarah.

After a 20-year losing streak against Sunrise, they highlighted one player as consistently reliable. They believe James Bracey and Sarah Abo are the key to the program’s future success.

‘Have Sarah and Sam give Karl the boot!’ another chimed in.

Some viewers expressed excitement about the possibility of Samantha Armytage hosting Today, with one person saying they’d love to see her return to morning television because of her engaging personality and skills as a host.

According to sources, the two hosts, working alongside Karl, have a strong rapport and can effectively cover important news stories.

‘I will switch to Nine if Sam comes back,’ someone else enthused.

Rumors are circulating after a report in The Australian suggested that Samantha Armytage and Karl Stefanovic are being considered as a potential pairing to help the ‘Today’ show challenge ‘Sunrise’ for the top spot in morning television ratings.

According to reports, the changes to the show’s cast are a last-ditch effort to beat Seven’s ‘Sunrise’ in the ratings for morning television.

Nine is hoping to repeat the success Sunrise had in 2013 when Samantha Armytage joined the show, a phenomenon known as the ‘Armytage effect.’

After leaving Sunrise in 2021, Armytage became the host of Farmer Wants A Wife and is now preparing to host The Golden Bachelor.
