Salma Hayek sent a loving birthday message to her step-daughter Friday.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I took a trip down memory lane recently, sharing some vintage snaps of myself alongside the radiant Mathilde Pinault, as we celebrate another year of her vibrant life – her 24th!

One picture captured both the actress and the model elegantly adorned in stunning, shimmering evening gowns.

Hayak shone resplendently in an electric-blue strapless dress, whereas Mathilde appeared stunningly elegant in a silver strapless number.

Another photo in the carousel shows Hayek with her arm around Tildie during a glamorous evening. 

In approximately the last ten years, there was a photograph taken featuring Hayak, Mathilde, and Hayek’s daughter Valentina (who is now 17), all engaged in a crafting activity on their kitchen table, which seemed to be some sort of DIY project.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: I am the eldest child from the union of François-Henri Pinault, who is now 62 years old, and I possess the striking resemblance to my mother, Dorothée Lepère, that has been passed down through our family. My younger brother, Francois, age 27, shares this lineage with me. Interestingly, both François-Henri and I have walked the runway together, while Francois is the son of our father’s former wife, a philanthropist by the name of Dorothée Lepère, aged 59.

The birthday girl reacted to the sweet message with a series of black heart emojis. 

In addition to being his biological mother, Hayek is also the stepmother of Augustin, who is 18 years old and is from Pinault’s past relationship with the model Linda Evangelista, who is currently 59 years old.

She shared with Red magazine in 2017 that while she always desired to have many kids, it didn’t work out for her biologically. Remarkably, she gave birth to one child instead. She added that a great fortune has come her way because her spouse already had three other children, making her family count four. And each of them is distinctly unique.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the extraordinary life of Ms. Hayek, who, despite being married to one of the world’s richest men, has remained steadfast in her professional pursuit. In her own inspiring words, “I strive to demonstrate that I am not just a part of someone else’s world, but a unique individual with my own growth and ambitions in the field I love.

In a conversation with the Wall Street Journal, the actress revealed that she and her spouse, married since 2009, maintain individual financial independence by keeping their funds distinct.

She asserted, “I strongly endorse many aspects of my life and personality. I find satisfaction under the expectation to earn a specific amount of income, and I thrive in that environment. Now, I’ve chosen to aim for even greater financial accomplishments.

A portion of her endeavors included serving as an executive producer for the HBO show “Like Water For Chocolate,” under her production company, Ventanarosa Productions.

The program represents a fresh take on Laura Esquivel’s beloved novel, ‘Like Water for Chocolate.’ Hayek described it as a genuine treasure in Latin American literature and cinema when speaking to Variety about the show currently available on MAX.

I aimed to unveil a fresh setting and narrative approach for the story, ensuring a new audience could encounter it, while also giving those familiar with the tale an opportunity to re-experience it in a revitalized style.
