Salma Hayek, 58, dances in a bikini as her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue goes to Mexico

Salma Hayek, 58, is appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Mexico.

Two months have passed since the actress portraying Frida made a splashy appearance on the cover of the U.S. edition, receiving outstanding praise.

On the magazine cover shared by SI Mexico, the renowned Hollywood figure donned a stylish macramé bikini in shades of beige and brown.

In a video posted by her on social media, the celebrity showcased a cream-hued bikini set that included a belly chain and coordinating necklace, while dancing outside. This captivating footage was uploaded onto Instagram on a recent Wednesday.

The legendary figure from Hollywood showcased skilled maneuvers that were initially noticed in her 1996 movie titled “From Dusk Till Dawn.

The mother posted on social media that her sports illustrated cover for Mexico is now available, featuring the special edition #VIVAMEXICO.

The Frida star was posing in a bikini as she showed off her enviable figure for the magazine.

The From Dusk Till Dawn standout is one of the few actresses to pose for the prestigious cover.

Hayek expressed surprise to the publication, saying, ‘It’s quite unexpected!’ At 60 years old, such an occurrence wouldn’t have crossed my mind initially. Instead, the first feeling that arises is a sense of self-doubt, often referred to as imposter syndrome.

Additionally, she made an appearance on the Today show alongside Savannah Guthrie where she expressed her disbelief.

‘I remember when I was young and hot, I used to look at this magazine,’ she said.

The siren expressed surprise by stating, “I had always wanted to find out who the latest stunning model was, the current ‘it girl.’ Never did it occur to me that I could be on that cover because they didn’t resemble me in any way. My body isn’t typically model-like and I never considered it a possibility. The fact that this happened when I’m 58 is truly astonishing.

MJ Day, editor in chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, emphasized that the magazine is not just about swimwear and attractive photos when discussing the actress’ debut on its cover for the first time.

The aim is to establish a venue for preserving significant moments in our era, honoring individuals who influence our cultural landscape, and displaying global beauty in a prominent manner.

The shoot was by photographer Ruven Afanador.

Each woman highlighted in this year’s edition possesses a distinctive and potent rationale for her inclusion, making them all exceptional.

In the press statement, Day noted that these women embody both passion and purpose in all aspects of their lives, whether it’s their personal growth or the influence they exert globally. He specifically referred to Hayek as a powerful figure in acting, directing, producing, and advocating for women’s rights.

In 2021, Salma shared with ET that she needed to shed a significant amount of weight and engage in regular workouts to fit into her bikini by the end of the previous year. She expressed this during the stated period.

I’m really happy I took so many photos during my first week of vacation. There’s no embarrassment about it.” (Hayek was talking about her vacation.)

She has shared that she maintains her fitness through regular restorative yoga, juice detoxes, and walking her multiple dogs, whom she refers to as her “trainers.

‘I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work. I’m working.

In a conversation with Glamour last year, this individual, who is both Mexican and Lebanese American, expressed that they previously believed growing older would mean losing the ability to love. However, they have found themselves in love again.

I don’t seem to have lost my flexibility, agility, or strength…Can you believe it? I’m still kicking! It’s amazing. I’m still hanging in there.

‘They tried to get rid of me a thousand ways. I’m still here.’

This stunning, age-resistant brunette consistently appears significantly younger than her actual age, and she claims she doesn’t rely on Botox or injectable fillers for her youthful appearance.

Her impeccable complexion isn’t due to any enchantment or high-end cosmetics. Instead, she relies on a product sourced from tree bark.

In a 2015 interview with Elle, Hayek mentioned that she employs an ingredient called Tepezcohuite, which is traditionally utilized in Mexico to aid burn victims due to its remarkable ability to rejuvenate the skin.

Upon bringing certain components to U.S. laboratories, their response was something like, “Wow, can’t believe it’s not being utilized!” That’s the reason I don’t rely on Botox, chemical peels, or fillers.

As a connoisseur of refined living, I’ve been fortunate to share my life with the esteemed François-Henri Pinault since 2006. We formalized our bond in the City of Lights, Paris, in 2009. A journey that began over a decade ago, and continues to be an enriching adventure.

He’s the offspring of Francois Pinault, a wealthy French entrepreneur, who owned the company Kering back in the ’90s. This company acquired both Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent during that time.

His company also owns Boucheron, Balenciaga, and the British fashion house Alexander McQueen.
