At a Christmas Eve gathering at the Musée de Sainte Victoire, Jean is asked to verify the authenticity of a recent acquisition: a valuable gold box that once belonged to Marie Antoinette.

Okay, so things went south fast. I was exploring the museum when suddenly we found a bomb! They locked everything down, and now me and my friends have to figure out this code and disarm it before it’s too late – we’ve only got 90 minutes!

Lindsay recently shared that the episode is a really ambitious idea, but the team is incredibly happy with the final result. She added that she’s excited for viewers to see it, and sent a Merry Christmas greeting from everyone in Ste. Victoire.

This episode will feature returning cast members Alex Gaumond, Sue Vincent, and Tony Robinson, along with some new faces: John Thomson, known for Cold Feet; Kacey Ainsworth from EastEnders; Raji James; and Manjinder Virk of Trigger Point.

I’ve totally fallen in love with The Madame Blanc Mysteries since it first came out in 2021! I saw one person on IMDb describe it as “delightfully quirky,” and I couldn’t agree more – it’s just a really fun show.

They described it as a fun and easy watch – perfect for relaxing and not having to think too hard. It’s a nice break from more serious shows.

I actually really enjoyed the show! Honestly, the writing, filming, and acting were just as good as any typical detective series you see on TV these days – and with actors this good, it was even better than a lot of them.

Fans of can enjoy a new Christmas special on December 23rd at 8pm on Channel 5. All four seasons are currently available to stream on 5, and the first three seasons are also available on Netflix.
